I'm predicting Darcy Short to total less than 50 points over his 2 games this round, after everyone in the comp brings him in :P

I'm scared of this too, picking him is purely defensive.

Can't afford not to have him, just in case he puts up 150-200+ ;)

Pretty confident in this happening. If I didn't have him already I'd steer clear as a POD.

Cartwright > Bailey (1k short of my preferred choice in McDermott but George is due anyway)

Shortx2, Baileyx2, Head, Ingram, McCullum (Roy, Henriques)

Wadex2 (Carey)

Archerx2, Christianx2, Bravo, Khan, Willey (Laughlin, Lyon)

VC on DC. Willey will be my fallback option if he scores below 35. Wouldn't mind Roy going ballistic in his final game for the 6ers so I can loophole him and trade Head in the process (in prep for his ODI departure).

Any thoughts on what I should do with my team this week.

My team is as follows: With 17.5k in the bank
Short, Head, McCullum, Finch, Kiinger. (Maddison, Voges)
Carey (Handscomb)
Bravo, Willey, Laughlin, Dogget, Maxwell (Watson, Edwards).

I was thinking just holding for this week, however, really wouldnt mind archer for dogget as I don't trust him. Any thoughts?

Litte bit late on the call to arms I think mate, probably should've got Archer in for the DGW

Two catches dropped off Willey's bowling, and surely one of the easiest catches ever dropped in the BBL by Inglis >:(

I have Willey, and Agar as well, who dropped the first catch >:( Then in Agar's second over two simple misfields cost 8 runs >:(

Need advice, I'm playing one of my good mates in a cash bet whoever finishes higher wins the cash. Atm I'm sitting 300 and got a 210 point lead. Ive got Neser, Laughlin, Bazza and Christian to come and he got Ingram and Short. Right now I'm 20 points behind. He has captain Jofra as I got vice and can loophole Jofra in if needed? Just wondering would you guys go a POD captain like Neser, Laughlin or Bazza and try and kill the cash my way or would you go safe with Jofra to cancel it out or Khan but only get one lot more points?

I'd probably roll the dice on Rashid or Baz if you're feeling particularly ballsy. The main reason I didn't VC Jofra in the first place was because with Milenko in the side he's probably not going to get much opportunity with the willow and he'd been bowling so well that I thought it might be time batsmen finally get a hold of him (which they did), mind you he got pretty unlucky on occasions bowling to Billings.

He might bounce next game but I think with Rashid you're always guaranteed economy points to go with his poles and the Strikers love a good collapse so he's always a chance of some late order runs. He might even get bumped up the order as a pinch hitter after his little cameo a few days ago.

Thanks for the insight but didn't see this till lockout. Now I lead by 62 with Christian and Baz vs Short. Should get another 100 point gain to lead by 300. Tempted to chuck the captain on bazza and hope he goes crazy instead of jofra.
