Hey all, just thought I'd chuck this up for some feedback  :)

Finch, Maxwell, McCullum, Head, Matt Short // Maddinson, Voges
Buttler // Carey
Watson (c), Khan, D'Arcy Short, Ahmed, Nabi // Cartwright, Paris

3 dgw players for round 1 in Buttler, Watson and Ahmed.

Finch, Maxi, McCullum and Head self explanatory. Should all score well.
Matt Short has been in good form so hoping he gets a game, was batting middle order for Vic and usually bowled a few overs. Maddinson and Voges prices are a bargain for potential output.

Buttler for DGW, most likely trade next round.
Carey's price should increase, handy option through their DGW weeks, cashcow.

Watson a lock.
Short been going ok, bowling a bit so could be a chance for wickets.
Khan and Nabi should both score well.
Ahmed purely for DGW, will trade.
Cartwright here for dpp swing, cashcow.
Paris should take a few wickets, DGW round 2 should see a nice price rise early if named.

Hey mate,

Matt Short I doubt gets a game with how ridiculous the Gades' depth is, but up to you if you want to risk that.
D'Arcy Short however I really rate as a POD, could go bang if in the right headspace first up.
Which Khan? Both are good.

Everything else looks fine to me mate. :)

Alright, so as of 1:20pm ACST, this is what my team looks like, theres still a few points of uncertainty, but I'm fairly happy with it in the main.

Finch // McCullum // Roy // Head // Patterson x2 (Maddinson (loop) // Cartwright)
Peirson (Carey)
Watson x2 // Maxwell // Bravo // R.Khan // McClenaghan x2 (Doggett // Paris)

Covered most of these guys in my earlier post, but I still have a few new faces & points of contention

Patterson - Selected over Ferguson because he opens and is a bit more aggressive, simple as that. Will become a Scorcher or Heat player in Rd2 barring a masterclass. Please don't fail me Kurt.
McClenaghan - Forced by the absence of McKay, felt only 2 DGW players was running the gauntlet a bit too much. Likely to become Shadab or Tye next round as I don't really rate him. Nabi & Hastings two others unlucky to miss out.
R.Khan - Was originally going to wait until GW3 for him, but my word the more I watch of him, the more I fall in love with him. Going to be an absolute jet. 1/13 off 3 overs & a runout today in a scratch match.
Watson - I'm still not 100% sold, am tempted to rejig my team and bring in Buttler, but will hold firm for now. Becomes Willey next week anyway.
Maddinson - Will monitor tonight, and trade out Head if needed to take his score.
Doggett - In the Heat squad and is battling with Lalor for that 3rd seamer spot for tomorrow night. If he plays, great! DGW in Round 2, 20k, and was in good shield form. If not, will swap to Tom Rogers.
Roy - Still tossing up as to whether Ingram may be a better shout here.

So overall, I think 3 DGW players along with two Scorchers and two Heat already in prep for next round, and 2 Strikers to prep for Rd3, is a nice balance. It's not as DGW heavy as recent years for me but I can't justify anyone else (maybe Nair if he starts?) but I think it's a good all-round squad. Just fingers crossed that Lynn doesn't go ballistic and we should be fine!  ;D

Good luck everyone, a month of almost-nightly cricket awaits!  :-*

Feedback always appreciated!

Alright lads what is the go on these guys:

Alex Doolan - Opened in the warm up game. Worth a look at only 30k?

Chris Lynn - Under an injury cloud coming off the shoulder surgery. Looks like most have been scared off him. Could create a huge advantage if he goes big in R1. Heat also have the double game in R2 so you'd think most would try get him by then.

Moises Henriques - Sustained a recent injury but is named for the Sixers tonight. Anyone know the severity of the injury and if if will affect his bowling?

Chris Green is another one I'd like to hear about, double game but no one considering him?

I got Greeny in my team currently. I think most have gone with McClenaghan though. 5k cheaper and a bit of an unknown around these parts.

I think personally, the Cane's lineup is still under a bit of a cloud in regards to predictions and who bats where. Doolan is definitely a potential opener for them, but I'd almost think Maddinson is more nailed on if you don't have him.

Yeah thats the issue with Lynn (risk/reward), definitely potentially a huge advantage, but I don't have the funds to afford him and still be happy with the rest of my squad. No preparation is a worry. Could do McClenaghan to Nabi and Finch to Lynn but I'm not sure that's worth it at the moment. Can definitely do Watson -> Willey and Finch -> Lynn next week if I see fit.

Henriques I think you'll be able to tell whether he will bowl tonight based on the Sixers lineup before the game. If they run with Silk at 6 and then the 4 bowlers + Nevill, I'd say it's a certainty he'll roll the arm over. If it's Billings (wk) and 5 bowlers I doubt it, same if Conway comes in for Silk. Long-term though I'm really not too certain whether he will turn to himself that much.

Levi hit the nail on the head with Green. McClenaghan bats (or should bat) one spot higher and is 5k cheaper. I don't particularly rate him though and I wanted Green, but only 4k currently ITB. :(

Decided to swap Roy & McClenaghan out for Ingram and Chris Green, good luck boys!
