I am not happy with the seat allocation handed to me at the new stadium. For one who is afraid of heights I am afraid that I may have to forgo my seats as I am afraid of getting a nose bleed every time I go to a game. Also I have to tell you I will be closer to heaven than I have ever been in my life, and let me tell you it is a long drop to get to where I am going when I leave this earth.
Block 312 at Subi.Block 518 at new stadium.
Must say I am not a happy camper.

?? Surely the new stadium is not that big ? higher than the top tier at the MCG ? or are you afraid of dodgy building practices and it's going to collapse if so better to be up top than underneath  ;D

Nice repost Shaker.
But I am sure you get my point. It is a long way further back than where I was situated st Subi. And besides being an old fart it will be bloody hard work on my legs getting up there. Not sure the Big Fella up there will appreciate my rants during games either.

Yep no fun getting old mate but I'm sure the big fella's hearing is getting worse like mine  :P

A lot of members from both local sides are not happy with the seating arrangements.

Then pay extra and get better seats.

Not sure if you've heard of it over there in the West, but we have a little saying that goes,
suck it up, princess

Why didn’t all members get roughly the same seats they had at the old ground? That’s what Port and crows members got when we made the move.

Alternatively they’ve changed the membership distribution and now they have more seats at higher membership levels, in which case you just gotta pay up :|

Not as simple as it sounds, especially when you are on a pension,Easy to say pay more, but something has to give.
May just give away my membership from day one and just buy a ticket for every home game.

We haven't had the pigeon telegraph here long enough to have heard that saying yet.Gee we miss out on some weird sheet here in the West... thank goodness.

Would this work out cheaper in the long run tho?

Understand where you are coming from. Not sure whether the Eagles have a similar system to Lions. I take up the option of paying over 10 months by direct debit and find that is easier.
Just need to work out what suits best. I do this because it saves me some $200 on my prime seat over buying match day tickets.
