Lachie Weller - Apparently requests trade home to GC

Michael Gleeson has just reported that Lachie Weller is looking to get back home to the GC

I hope this is not true.It would be a hammer blow if it is.But maybe with Wilson coming on board, maybe he doesn't see he has a place as a HBF.
I am sure Fremantle will play hard ball on him.I just hope that he is not a straight swap for Matera. That would be bad news for Fremantle.

So yes, I agree with you that is HIGHLY weighted in Freo's favour.

Where as my deal makes Weller worth 639 and roughly pick 30

FREMANTLE says it intends to retain Lachie Weller, who has sought a trade to Gold Coast.

“We’ve had inquiries from Gold Coast,” said Fremantle list manager Brad Lloyd. “He’s a contracted player we want to retain.”

I dont really care what the picks values are but jumping from 5 to 2 is alot bigger then pick 30.

moving up to get a LDU or a Rayner is huge.

Weller and 5 for 2 and 21.  Would then allow us to use 21 for Wilson.
