Don't like this at all, will stunt Simmons growth and they'll probably lose to Celts anyway.  LBJ needs shooters around him, Simmons would be redundant.

Lebron takes almost any team in the league to the finals.  The only 2 teams I can see beating GSW are Boston and Houston (if they are both fully healthy).  Lebron would tip either of these teams over the Warriors, can't see him going to Boston unless Kyrie leaves, Houston I'm not sure how they fit him in salary cap wise, they'd have to somehow get rid of Anderson's contract plus a few others and CP3 and LBJ would have to take a fairly hefty pay cut and CP3 wants max.  All I can say is flower the Warriors. :(

I'm leaning towards the Lakers at this point.

Sixers have the cap room but as JV mentioned might stunt Simmons' growth a bit, Houston will struggle with the cap and already having two ball-dominant PG's and surely you can write off the Cavs.

Lebron has said he is intetested in playing off ball and thats a smart move as it will increase thr number of years he can play.

Philly or San Antonio are the best fits.

Spurs wpuld need to move pau i think but kawhi lebron aldridge i like that combo.

Stick kawhi on kd. Let pop build a defence to slow the warriors

Man I would love to see Lebron next to Kawhi, and hope Pop doesn't succumb to GM Lebron.  Don't see him going anywhere where they can't win a title which rules out a lot of teams.  I think he works with Houston as Harden, Lebron and CP3's would be able to get bulk rest every game.

LaHug

Obviously would love LeBron and George St the Lakers but reckon Spurs is the best fit. That said, if we can shed Deng with picks instead of players, LeBron + George + young cheap role players + vets is not actually bad. Would be a top 3 side instantly.

Lakers have the cash but he won't win rings there

If he could somehow fit in Houston alongside CP3 and Harden then that would be the best chance to beat GSW so that would certainly be cool, but I don't think it happens

Still feel like Sixers or Spurs are the front runners but I look forward to seeing this play out

Don't look now, but Boston has come in from $64 to $13 over the past week to sign LeBron. Would have to be a sign & trade for Hayward, so very unlikely but could you imagine a lineup of Kyrie, Jaylen, LBJ, Tatum, Horford. That's instantly the title favourites.

I have truly no idea where he goes.

Reckon he goes back to play with Kyrie though? Would be shocked if he did

Toga

Yeah surely he doesn't go to Boston after Kyrie left to be the big guy. Would be scary if it happens though.

Just because I am sick of talking about LeBron (already).

What do you think it would take for the Kings to get Aaron Gordon (RFA) out of Orlando?  We have the cap space to offer him a max (even after Shumpert opted in for $11m)

These are the two I was thinking as well. Pop is making a pitch I think this week and if he does go out west that's the only team that makes sense for me. Even if Lakers can get one of CP3 or George to pair with him I don't think their roster is anywhere near good enough to beat GS. Ingram could live up to the KD lite potential and Kuzma is a nice piece but they're not going to compete without at least one more major piece.

Said this for a while now and will say it again, Sixers make the most sense if he does leave the Cavs. He goes to play with two young superstars in Simmons and Embiid and he doesn't have to see GS until the finals. There is no worry to him stunting Ben, if anything it should actually improve his play with a hands on mentor role all season. He has never played with as dominant a big man as Embiid in his entire career and they have some complementary pieces like Dario, TJ, JJ, RoCo and a pick 10 this year. That's not including Fultz who will be working on getting his shot back all summer.

Jay

Simmons is probably the worst fit basketball wise with LeBron. That's why Philly doesn't make sense.
