Yeah that'd be ideal for Freo, but I dont think North would come to the party realistically given the circumstances.

Make no mistake, this kid can play.He will be a very good pick up for a Melbourne based club.To compare him to Viv Michie is an insult to Balic.
Michie was full of his own self importance whilst at Fremantle. He thought he was better than he was.I think his failed move to a lowly Melbourne was proof of just how good he was.
I also thin, correct me if I am wrong, but with Balic requesting a trade back home, due to illness, don't Fremantle get a concessional selection!!!As I said I may be wrong on this.

Just on Trade Radio:  Melbourne allegedly showing interest in Harley Balic.

Seems the deal will be done without issue.Melbourne are just waiting to see what happens with Jack Watts and what picks they will have for Fremantle. Doesn't look like any other players will be involved.
