The free kick definitely wasn't there, but when you kick 10.16 (to 12.6) including 2.4 (to 3.0) in extra time you most likely don't deserve to win. Port definitely lost it more than umpiring/ducking did. If it's any consolation, you get slightly better draft picks (as does Brisbane of course!).

Does this take the lead for game of the season now? Any other year it probably does but there's been so many good ones it probably doesn't this year hahaha

Result sucked but the players will be better because of it. Hinkley had the option to play guys like Trengove and Broadbent and decided youth in Bonner, Howard, Marshall was the way to go. I respect that call 100%.
