Liverpool give: Adam Treloar
Grope Lane give: Jarryd Lyons + Hugh Greenwood

Treloar's a top mid in the comp and has gone back-to-back in the Liverpool best and fairest as our best player. It hurts to lose a player of his quality but the guys I get in return are well suited to the comp's scoring system and once again, a 2 for 1 deal helps add quantity while not sacrificing too much in quality. This trade along with the one above should mean I actually have mids to play as utilities/interchange rather than forwards and should alleviate the issue I've had in past season of OOP mids.

One of the weaknesses of Grope Lane is the lack of captain options. Nige gets 2 very decent players and we land a captain option in Treloar. A trade that seems to meet both teams needs perfectly.

After my recent trades and updating my team list, I identified the need for a defender that will start and score pretty well. Mullett is that. Hughes is also steadily improving too. Laverde, Lonie and Williams have all played and shown good potential about at both AFL and VFL level and N24 should still net Coop a solid youngster as well and helps balance the trade.
