Another Matty Eagles article

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-10-27/jonathan-browns-brother-ignites-fire-for-lion-eagles

We'll be upgrading him off the rookie list I think - reckon he is a good chance to debut in 2018  8)
Especially if he continues his improvement as a defender. Would be competing with Gardiner and McStay though for a place.  Buts as we know injuries happen. Barrett took his chance when promoted as a result of LTI to Robbo.

A reminder, that the 2017 Christchurch Buenos Aires Draft will be held no earlier than the 30th of November :)

I'm tired of logging onto the forum and seeing no new replies here lol

Currently delisting these guys:

Cam Hewett
Jesse Palmer
Jono Freeman
Jon Griffin
Liam Mackie
Lachie Hansen
Sam Fisher
Craig Bird
Stewart Crameri
Jimmy Toumpas
Brad Lynch

If you wanna punt on any of these blokes for a NAT or PSD pick, lemme know. Couple of those guys I might like to see if they get picked up by someone else or not, such as Crameri and Bird.

GoLions

Should have another blockbuster trade done by tomorrow night.

Purple 77

3 teams left to vote:

Moscow Spetsnaz
Pacific Islanders
PNL Reindeers

This trade auto-passes as it has received no votes so far.

Trade 90
Berlin trade: Pick 67
Rio de Janeiro trade: Pick 73 + PSD Pick 29

4 down, 7 to go. Rumour has it that the Swans will pick up Sam Fisher again in the rookie draft providing that no other clubs take him. Liam Mackie is the cousin of Andrew, will get picked up by another club on that alone. Have a PSD pick higher than 22 you're not using? Well then it could be your lucky day. Maybe even a rookie pick higher than 22. Who knows. The possibilities are endless.

All votes are in!

Trade 89
New Delhi trade: Pick 30 + Rookie Pick 16
Mexico City trade: Trent McKenzie, James Rose + Rookie Pick 44
Votes: 2
Coaches comments: One coach felt Cannon was worth more, the other felt Pick 30 was worth more
Admin comments: Kewl.
Verdict: PASS

Trade 90
Berlin trade: Pick 67
Rio de Janeiro trade: Pick 73 + PSD Pick 29
Votes: 0
Coaches comments: Nil
Admin comments: Coz flower you that's why.
Verdict: PASS

Trade 91
Christchurch trade: Pick 3, Pick 4 + Pick 6
Buenos Aires trade: Luke Parker + Pick 21
Votes: 5
Coaches comments: All felt it was an overpay for Parker, pointing out that Parker didn't average 100+ in two of the past 3 years. Felt 2 high draft picks was more accurate
Admin comments: Well, is Pick 4 worth Ebert or Fiorini? The answer to that question - as a coach - would determine whether I'd neg this trade. However, what should be noted here (and was mentioned by a couple of PASSing coaches), is that Parker is Buenos Aires caption option. I extremely doubt anyone here would accept just Picks 3 & 4 for their captain option where in this case, this caption option has had two 108+ seasons and is still only 25. So I do see Pick 6 as necessary here, and that extra price is recognised by the Dillos also sending Pick 21 to the way of the Saints. You need ample motivation to trade your captain, and meow has provided that. Not a big enough issue for me to overturn it.
Verdict: PASS

So! With just a little over 2 weeks until the end of the trade period, I've just done a quick sweep of how all of your lists are shaping up for your list lodgements.

There are currently 130 delisted/retired AFL players that have not found their way to another club yet. These players will be force delisted from your team (unless they find another club).

With these players removed, this is how your caps are shaping up

A reminder, that you will be submitting your list lodgement on the presumption that you will have 44 players on your list. So your cap has to be above the min and the below the max assuming 44 list spots.

As you can see, if we were submitting a list lodgement today:

Beijing, Berlin and Moscow would be over the cap, and

Buenos Aires, London, Mexico City and Rio would be under it.

Looking to package up some of the following for a single player ideally, as list size is up and cap is down. However can look at any offer unless it involves my cap reducing drastically

Its certainly pretty funny that as soon as Mummy retires, Cairo become relevant.
