I'm on discord if anyone feels like talking trades :)

Purple 77

All votes in, there was just one pending trade left:

Trade 86
Moscow trade: Darcy Moore, Pick 6 + Pick 19
Christchurch trade: Sam Petrevski-Seton + Pick 20
Votes: 5
Coaches comments: Felt SPS was worth around Pick 6, and Pick 19 is approximately the same as Pick 20, meaning Moscow was either not receiving compensation for losing Moore, or not enough.
Admin comments: I certainly see where the coaches are coming from, and I have stewed on trade this morning. At the moment, I think SPS is second to only McGrath (maybe Witherden) from last year's draft, and I think there is enough precedent (Parish comes to mind) that the year SPS has produced is worthy of a top 3 pick in return. Picks are a gamble, and given SPS's form has kinda 'validated' him as a good young prospect, I'm comfortable with valuing SPS at Pick 2 or 3 for the purposes of this trade. Now, I think there is a notable difference (especially in this draft) between Pick 2/3 and Pick 6, and although Moore is a price to pay for this difference, I don't think it's unreasonable enough for me to overturn the decision from a PASS to a REJECT.
Verdict: PASS

Houston averaged more than McGrath and SPS

SPS is pretty good.

He averaged as much as Weits so thats saying something.

Serious question though why draft a KPP that usually take 3-5 years to develop and then trade them cheap just as they are about to become good.

The trade above.

Hmmm Moore could take quite a long while still to turn into anything SC relevant

Rumour is he is pegged to play down back which will be interesting and could improve his scoring, but I can't see him being consistent for quite a while still

Ricochet

Lol at this trade

McKenzie looking like getting delisted now

Next it'll be Rose

Another club will swoop if he gets delisted, that's why I thought you were keen :P

Yeah i assumed thats why they where targeting him. If i was NDT i would be hoping he gets delisted and picked up at another club. For the cost of pick 30 its a steal.

Another Matty Eagles article

We'll be upgrading him off the rookie list I think - reckon he is a good chance to debut in 2018  8)
