Yeah so... Shane Mumford has retired. :'( Rory Lobb will be rucking for the Giants next season, but he'll probably still be F only next year which means we're gonna need a ruck.

Potentially could even package up all of Lobb, Simpson and Flynn if it helps.

Surely CD show common sense - can't have a team without a Ruck, and Simpson doesn't count

Besides first year rookies have they ever changed positions based on common sense? Blicavs is the only one i can think of but he hadn't played a game yet

Not so much common sense, but I recall Sam Gilbert getting forward status for 2011 after playing up forward and kicking 2 goals in the 2010 GF (his only game playing forward) which was pretty mind boggling.

I don't see Lobb getting ruck status however.

Lobb had 11/17 games where he had 10+ HO's

Mostly in the teens except the last 2 games where he was solo and went 30+, but I reckon he will get F/R

Just in case he doesn't though, Tippett is about the best ruck option you have :P

Motlop and Lang out and Menegoat missing out on fwd status. CD have to assign some forward too. Menzel and Hawkins probably isn't enough.
