Best offer for Andy Otten at the moment is a pick in the 50's. He averaged 73 over 16 games this year, a lock to get DEF/FWD DPP and is only 28 years old.

Might only take a pick in the 40s for him to be yours!

Toga

Beijing players available:
-Josh Jenkins (F) - pure forward, went 85 last year and 84 without his injury game vs Hawthorn this year.
-Allen Christensen (F) - injury prone but he's a great scorer when fit so won't give him away for chips.
-Kane Lambert (M/F) - 87 average, should be DPP.

Plus a bunch of depth players if you like them can always enquire :)

Mids?!

Welp, I've been fielding a lot of interest for Libba & Dunstan over the last couple of weeks, so come to me if you want some midz

meow meow

LDU, Cerra, Rayner, Paddy dow...

Higgins will be the best of the bunch...

That's only 5. Still some quality mids available at picks 6 and 7 but if you'd prefer to try to grab them next year after they've played a season and cost more that's cool.

Levi434

Matthew Wright on the table still.

Received a decent offer for Robbo so get in quick.

The draft is all kpp and rucks.

All votes are in!

Trade 37 - 4 votes
Dublin trade: James Parsons, Todd Marshall, Pick 73 + Pick 91
Rio de Janeiro trade: Mason Wood
Coaches comments: Felt Dublin was effectively giving up nothing of substance for a player with proven potential
Admin comments: I tend to agree with the coaches here. In a coaching role, I'd neg it. Is it enough to overturn? A history of injuries to Wood saves this trade. Not enough to overturn decision, and that goes with the scenario where it received 6 votes.
Verdict: PASS

Trade 38 - 8 votes
Buenos Aires trade: Pick 19 + Pick 20
Christchurch trade: Pick 21, Pick 23 + Pick 25
Coaches comments: Felt the downgrade in Picks 19 & 20 was not worth Pick 25
Admin comments: Our first auto-neg of the year!
Verdict: REJECTED

Trade 39 - 4 votes
Moscow trade: Tim Taranto, Tom Bellchambers, Eric Hipwood + Pick 42
Rio de Janeiro: Sam Jacobs, Jack Watts, Shaun Grigg + Liam Jones
Coaches comments: Common theme felt that given Jacobs' history, that he was worth Bellchambers + Hipwood, which left Taranto + 42 compared to Watts, Grigg and Jones. As a result, felt Moscow was winning by too much.
Admin comments: My initial reaction was that Moscow was winning by too much. But a closer look at the trade reveals that there isn't as a big of an imbalance as I thought. Taranto & Hipwood are excellent youth, and Rio are assuming their future payoffs in this trade, which is common practice really. Not enough to overturn the decision from pass to neg, and vice versa FWIW
Verdict: PASS

Trade 40 - JUAN vote
Rio de Janeiro trade: Aaron Hall
Rio de Janeiro receive: Jeremy Cameron

New Delhi trade: Jeremy Cameron, Nick Vlastuin + Phil Davis
New Delhi receive: Dan Hannebery + Timothy Broomhead

Cairo trade: Dan Hannebery + Timothy Broomhead
Cairo receive: Aaron Hall, Nick Vlastuin + Phil Davis
Coaches comments: Felt NDT was winning by too much
Admin comments: I actually really like this trade.
Verdict: PASS

Trade 41 - 2 votes
Toronto trade: Pick 4
Rio de Janeiro trade: Brad Ebert
Coaches comments: Felt Ebert was worth more than Pick 4
Admin comments: Yes, but his name is Brad Ebert. Who trusts a name like that? Not your ordinary 100 averaging mid if you ask me :P
Verdict: PASS

Trade 42 - 2 votes
Mexico City trade: Trent Cotchin, Lachie Plowman, Pick 38 + Pick 55
Tokyo trade: Anthony Miles, Jarryd Blair, Pick 2 + Pick 57
Coaches comments: Coaches were divided as to who was winning more.
Admin comments: Looks good to me
Verdict: PASS

Lmao fail to see how the picks trade with Meow gets rejected given how insignificant it is. Thought we'd only neg trades that would genuinely skew the competition.

It's pretty simple - we move down a few spots in the draft but gain a pick in doing so. Meow wants someone specific he doesn't think will be there at his old pick so he moves up, loses a pick to do so.

Especially considering they are picks in the 20s in a shallow draft...

If you thought it was a little one-sided okay then, but enough to neg?

Considering some of the rubbish that gets through, unreal that it got 8 votes. Thank you to those 8 people that have just saved WXV from a complete imbalance. You did it!
