Don't think it's unreasonable to say he's a top 10 defender in the comp for value, surely. Saints have a lot of young talent coming through the midfield/wings - Billings, Gresham, Acres, Sinclair, as well as Picks 7 and 8 which will likely be used on midfielders. Should ensure that Noons spends enough time down back to keep DPP long-term.

Ideally would like another 95+ mid while also getting a defender in return, just in case there are any retarded DPPs yet again. Alternatively I would look at a forward at a similar age and average. More than happy to keep him but he's simply expendable for me.

He averaged 88.2 without the 11 against Sydney where he got concussed in the first quarter. He hasn't missed a game in the past 4 seasons so I think it's fair to exclude it.

It's pretty disappointing to not see coaches making an extra effort to negotiate with others. I'm not signaling out anyone in-particular but being "busy" is NOT an excuse. I'm busy and still come on frequently. I know a lot of other coaches are busy but still make an effort.

fair enough. slight change to the list then,

add in  Jake Llyod averaged 91.5 and is younger then Newnes.
Steven May averaged 88.4

so 20th best defender and 5 are younger then him.

probably 3 teams who has made offers and 14 who haven't bother to ask. Good players rarely get 5+ enquirers i doubt there is huge demand for lester.
