Mexico to lose draft picks for being underneath cap

meow meow

They can have Petrie. Has he officially retired? He's playing this week so I'd say no.

JBs-Hawks

Will be retired at list lodgement as well as Nroo and Stanton  ;D

they should be fine, its easy to get over the cap. I reckon he is doing a great job of rebuilding under the circumstances. Its hard to sell high cap players to contending teams, probably getting a little less then with no cap but still doing really well.

meow meow

Exactly. They've got ages to get over.

***Purps, don't read the next part***

Me on the other hand, well I've got 1.5 million retiring but that's cool, I was over at the start so if I don't finish over that's my fault, even though teams don't have to cut enough points to be under the real max cap. I have to magically make higher salaries appear out of nowhere.

RaisyDaisy

Mexico should be fine, and considering we took a chunk of cap off them we gave them a fair bit back

Shaw 537k
Betts 367k
Pick 45 100k
TOTAL 1.04M

Harmes 242k
Hannan 144k
Kirby 100k
Pick 26 100k
Pick 33 100k
TOTAL 686k

Difference 318k, which is bugger all

Factor in their other pending trades (Goddard Berlin, Simmo Toronto etc) and that they are 1.6M above min before these 3 trades they might even be above still, and if not piece of cake to get above

Perhaps make sure your not in a position where you lose that many players to retiring. You knew fair well all these players and more could have gone, none where a shock.

Jroo

Yeah under the cap atm, but still got a while to get over

Rookie listed players count as part of the salary right?

Jroo

Yeah I'll be fine then, but trading Rocky and Cotch may be a bit harder now  :P

Rocky finally has a coach that knows how to use him. His rubbish kick chasing football was worth nothing to the team. Tagging, sometimes forward roles are good for the team. Lions improved when Tom did this, and this is his future. 79 average in the 2nd half of the year, 1 ton from 10 games. Gun!

@FantasyFreako
Amazing what an injury can do. @rockwiz38 led the competition for both #AFLFantasy and #SuperCoach points from Rnds 1-8.

When he's fit again he goes back to that role
