JB, is your counter offer for Gibbs still valid?

Remind me what it was? :P

Looking for 1st rounders, and have a number of defenders and forwards for sale

DEF: Brendon Goddard, Heath Shaw, Kade Simpson, Matthew Broadbent
FWD: Brett Deledio, Eddie Betts,

iZander

Taylor Walker is pretty much gone if anybody wants to make an offer

iZander

Also Zach Tuohy and Isaac smith would be out the door as well

Zach a 90 average defender, 27 years old

Isaac smith, went 109 in his last 5 games and kicked more goals than last year so who knows about forward status

meow meow

Timothy English with or without Jordan Roughead, possibly even with Vardy.

Rio
PNL
London

Anyone else interested or should I try to hone in on a deal with one of these 3 wonderful clubs?

Jay

I'll be more active in trade talks this season. Probably no surprise but we'd ideally look to gain a starting forward. Our ressies were #1 in points scored, so we have plenty of depth if that's what you're after, or can offer up some higher quality if the price is right. Happy to talk about whoever but the guys in red below it would be very hard to move on whilst making our team better. Would like to go to the draft after not doing so last year but we'll see what happens :)

Def: R Laird (Adel), M Hurley (Ess), M Suckling (WB), L Spurr (Freo), L Duggan (WC), B Williams (WB), S Day (GC), A Tomlinson (GWS), K Cheney (Adel), A Allir (Syd), J Kolodjashnij (Geel), H Himmelberg (GWS), K Jaksch (Carl)

Almost 22 year old, 75 average forward Alex Neal-Bullen available. Still has room to improve.

Scott Selwood 2017:

103, 112, 101, 44, 72, missed 4 weeks, 46, 95, 111, 96, 93, 128.

Injury affected game, did not return after 3QT.
Returning from injury, wasn't 100% fit (I know because I was watching).

2017 average: 91
Excluding injury affected game: 95.7
Excluding injury affected game, and games returning from injury: 104.8

There is no doubting that Scooter can score (it's pretty much impossible to average less than 90 when you lay 12 tackles a game), but his body has always let him down. Because of his injury history, I'm going to value him at less than his injury affected 2017 average, at 90ppg. :P

Looking to upgrade him to a better mid of a similar age. Willing to package him up with 1-2 of the following to do so.

Sam Kerridge: 86.5 in the last 9 weeks when he started to get consistent games, 24yo.
Liam Picken: 77.4 without the concussion game and will get fwd status. Contracted until the end of 2019.
Marco Paparone: Averaged 77 one year. Might be traded where he will get more opportunity. Turns 23 in about a week.

Purple 77

Well! I'm seen a more active first 24 hours of the trade period.

That being said, hurry up and ask for my players, coz I dunno what I want from you lot.

meow meow

Don't worry Purple, the trade you've all been waiting for is imminent!

Okay I've done some low level trades, one with a starting quality player. Now it's time to knock your socks off with the big one that I've been quietly putting together with a premiership coach.

Well, almost time. Will drop at 8pm and it's going to be known as the most significant moment in Christchurch's history.
