Looking to bring in the highest scoring mid for the final 2 round, easier said than done right!  Current lineup is Titch, Zerrett, Treloar, Rocky, Gibbs, and Heppell.

Thoughts
Danger - Pies then GWS, 2 tough teams to score on, but it's Danger.
Dusty - Dockers then Saints, looks easy right, but not a great record against either team.
Zaharakis - Suns then Dockers, out of left field, but whats not to like and has 5/6 100+ scores.
Kelly - Eagles then Cats, seems solid.

Leaning towards Zaha as a POD, but knowing him he'll spud right on cue.

Any other thoughts?

PowerBug

Just go Danger I reckon.

I have no idea how I'm going to trade this week. Either upgrade Stewart to push Ryan back to my bench, or upgrade Young to push Dahl or Ryder to my bench
Leader of the King Karl Amon fan club
Coach of WXV side Rio De Janeiro Jaguars
2023 SC: Rank 126

Rusty00

At this stage looking at downgrading Darcy and upgrading Greenwood to either Wingard or Stef Martin.

Trying to decide whether I downgrade Darcy to a Soldo/Howard type so I have a (albeit dodgy) Ruck E, or all the way down to a $150k player for maximum cash generation for the final round?

Callum Brown at 200k with M/F DPP or Luke Partington at 198K

Connor Glass D/M Dpp at $220k also worth considering.

Well Witherden seems out for the season, and Ryan spudded it up so would make sense to down Witherden and up Ryan, but having a look at the defensive rookies on option it doesnt seem like there is much, so thinking of doing something similar to Rusty and dropping Darcy who is on my bench to Soldo and upping Witherden to probably Hurley leaving Ryan as good bench cover.

Have Doch, Adams, Laird, Hibberd and Lloyd as my other defenders, and Hurley looks to be the best pick of the left over defenders at this point.

Issue is Id only have 118k for next week, which would leave me a bit behind to make a double upgrade next week

Stuck on these trade thoughts:

OUT:

Gaff & Ryan

IN:

Dangerfield & J.Lloyd
OR
Josh Kelly & Hurley

Leaning towards Josh Kelly/Hurley atm. Better run and total score potential for me.

Thoughts?

I'd lean towards the Kelly/Hurley combo, Essendon's nice run and I don't trust Lloyd.

GWS have been hard to score against all year. Danger went 142 in round 15. Good sign. Did Greenwood tag Danger when the played earlier in the year?

Zaharakis has definitely gone under the radar! Worth a punt if your team is weaker than the opponent and you need a POD. Too risky if your team is stronger.

Dusty - Youre right. But has Ross cracked the showers? Watch for team selections and see if he swings the axe. If he does and brings in some fresh faces Dusty might be able to go nuts.

Kelly has been pretty solid all year.

Id probably go with Danger for first choice then Dusty, Kelly, Zaha.

Stuff it mate. All or nothing at this time of the year! Darcy down to $150k'er.

Ive got $352,000 to play with.

Mids are Mitchell, Merrett, Rocky, Beams, Treloar, Zorko, Oliver and Ebert.

Reckon this week should be Danger and Dusty in for Oliver and Ebert.

Other lines are

Adams, Docherty, Laird, Newnes, Roberton, Lloyd in defence

Gray, Macrae, Dahlhaus, Steele Heeney, Menegola in forwards.

Kruezer, Gawn in ruck.

Oliver vs Lions I'd keep him.

For me your weakest links are Lloyd and Ebert.  Can you make a few swings via DPP?  I think I'd target Danger, Sidebottom if you can, backs are a bit hit and miss so Lloyd might be better staying. :/

Capper

Im waiting for teams to be named but at this stage
Grundy to $150k ruck or fwd (hopefully a rookie gets a game)
Greenwood to Danger via Sidey

Then next week Dahlhaus to Grundy via Ryder and

I feel like Ebert has a higher ceiling although he has dropped off terrible in the last 3 weeks (which is when I traded him in :/ )

How about Oliver to Danger and Gray to Sidey?

Yeh after thinking about that, Im going Darcy to a 150k ruck. No idea who, have Frampton at this stage, hopefully it doesnt really matter.

In comes Hurley for Witherden and leaves me 220k for next week where I can hopefully find room for Sidey and a performing player in another position.
