In light of Grundy being rubbed out for 2 weeks I need to trade him out.
Others may be in a similar position with Mummy also rubbed out albeit for a week and Witts' availability still questionable.

Candidates are...

Gawn$502,300
19% owned
3 round average 126.3
5 round average 103.0
Coming off the back of 160 but that was inflated by there being a massive 114 hitouts for the match. Watched that game and GWS and Melbourne just couldn't keep the ball in play. I think I'd be fairly correct in saying most matches would average 70 odd ruck contests.
Next opponents...St.Kilda, Bris, Coll...Longer/ Stef/ Grundy.
Last 3 v St.K 94, 124, 128 (115 ave)
Last 3 v Bris 67,105, 56 (76 ave)
Last 3 v Coll 104,105, 119 (109 ave)

Kreuzer $566,600
10% owned
3 round average 111.0
5 round average 111.2
Coming off 131 v Essendon.
Next opponents...WCE, Haw, Syd...Petrie/ McEvoy/ Sinclair-Tippett
Last 3 v WCE 58,98,57... probably not that relevant v Petrie this week.
Last 3 v Haw 72,74,90 (78 ave)
Last 3 v Syd 56,90,79 (75 ave)

Jacobs $491,200
5% owned
3 round average 122.7
5 round average 98.6
Coming off a 138pt game v Port
Next opponents... Ess, Syd, WCE... Bellchambers/ Sinclair- Tippett/ Petrie
Last 3 v Ess  143, 26, 110 (93 ave) (26inj -iced up 2nd quarter)
Last 3 v Syd 112, 71, 88 (90 ave)
Last 3 v WCE 102, 81, 51 (78 ave)

Ryder $553,000
29% owned
3 round average 109.3
5 round average 112.4
Coming off 87pts v Adel
Next opponents...Coll, WB, GC...Moore- Cox?/ Roughead/ Witts? Currie?
Last 3 v Coll 95, 75, 86 (85 ave)
Last 3 v WB 106, 140, 66 (104 ave)
Last 3 v GC 133, 84, 115 (110 ave)

Gawn was my first instinct at the price and seemingly back in form.
Kreuzer is more expensive but the premo choice.
Sauce is a POD who has favourable upcoming match ups but can be hot and cold... cold being the only thing putting him as my #1 choice.
Ryder is expensive but in good form.

Reckon I'll get Gawn.

G what happened to Stef?    I am in deep poo poo if he is not playing.    Brought in
Gawn last week, and have non playing mids in selwood, jpk and cousins this weekend so need ryder in fwds.  any chance of bolton getting a start this weekend for Richmond.

My bad mate...Mummy that should be. Sorry for the heart attack.

You mean Mumford right?

And would wait on this thread for now. Might just be my opinion, but Collingwood should definitely appeal. Grundy would only be back for Rd 23 and the pies are already out of finals contention. Got nothing to lose really. Also, it might stop this ridiculous mentality the MRP have that even if the tackle is completely fair, if the bloke is hurt its immediately a suspension.

Alright since Collingwood were weak as to not challenge...

Kreuzer or Ryder for Grundy replacement?

Thinking Kreuzer, but Ryder's DPP with Nank could be handy.

How many trades will you have after this one? If 1 or 2, then maybe Ryder for the DPP insurance, otherwise Kreuzer every time.

Added a poll... who would you bring in if you had the funds...and needed one of: Gawn, Kreuzer, Jacobs or Ryder.
In other words who will score the most points out of them over the last three weeks.
In order I reckon Gawn> Kreuzer> Ryder> Jacobs

Will have 1 after the trade. Could have 2, but the player I'd bring in would have to be equal or lesser in value to Grundy. i.e. Stef or Jacobs.

Got Nank at F7, Treloar at M9 currently.

Gawn 50k cheaper, fit, in a team which needs to lift to play finals for the first time in 10-11 years. He will be the 1 to pick.

Port may give Ryder a break if they can secure a top 4 spot given that spot is likely to be 4th and therefore a home showdown v Adelaide.

Kreuzer is overpriced, Carlton season over so may look after him a bit but has an easy ruck match up draw.

Sauce is underpriced but again if Adelaide secure top they may look after him in round 23.

Gawn looks the best bet for me. I brought him in last week for Nroo. One of the trades that has actually worked for me in this disaster of a year.

We can't secure 4th position in the next two weeks, we will need a fair few results to go our way to even be within striking distance of 4th come Round 23.

I'd still get Gawn though.

Given your percentage and Geelong's outs if you win the next 2 and Geelong lose the next 2 which are very possible you would be top 4.

With the bye I don't think top 8 teams will be resting anyone
