Slow start to trading, so Quito comes through again.

Quito trade: Craig Bird
Anaheim trade: Pat Lipinski

Bird is 28 and Lipinski is 19. Quito is gathering youth for the years ahead, while Anaheim want more experience to "feed the ducks"
While he's only played one game at top level, I am a fan of Lipinski and hope he can crack a spot in the Doggies line-up. Plus, he has a good looking head on him  :-*

KB to confirm.

Bird should get more games with no Watson and he is good backup for Zerrett/Heppell

Houston gives: NAT Draft Pick #7, Jarrod Witts, Kobe Mutch
Colorado gives: Marc Murphy, Zach Tuohy, James Aish, NAT #41.

Big trade for both clubs here. From my point of view I was looking for that extra premium in the midfield to replace Adams and think I've found it here with Murphy. Although he is getting on in age I think he still has a couple of good years left. Tuohy is a durable defender who we're hoping can replicate this season for another few years. Hurt to give up Witts as 94ave rucks in their prime are hard to find but the breakout of Kreuzer has allowed us to do so. And Koop should get a very good player with NAT 7. Rest of the trade just for balancing.

Koop to confirm.

Jay summed it up well. Giving up my permacaptain option but getting my locked ruck for the next 5-6 years in a rebuild I think is an appropriate means of compensation.

Taking the punt that Tuohy has peaked and will now score consistently for a few years before retiring. Mutch was extremely unlucky to not have played for the Bombers at the back end of the season and has proven to be a great future prospect with impressive VFL numbers and will only improve at 19.

the pick gives me two top 10 picks and 3 inside the first 20 to kickstart the rebuild.

Big Mac

Carolina gives: JPK + Logue
Chicago gives: Roughead + Stringer

JPK strengthens my midfield and adds another captaincy option, while I like the look of Logue. Roughead a little older but still a decent scorer up fwd and Stringer could be anything, but needs to put in a lot of work to get there.

Losing JPK & Logue & it's a shame to break up a Grand Finalist Premiership Team, but Forwards were the Panthers achilles heel this past season. Roughead adds to the Forwards & The Package once settled in a new team will hopefully have a lot bearing on the Panthers quest to go B2B!

Got a loooooooooot of young mids and I can't play them all. Webster's only 24, coming off a career best season and I need some decent young defenders with solid potential, plus N25 should get me somebody dece because wato's got a keen eye for talent.

Confirmed.

Quito trade: N39, R25, R37

Reasoning: FTC wanted someone here, I need to fill out my list so will trust my rookie nous with slightly higher picks in exchange for the NAT draft slide.
