Is anyone else concerned that Dangers foot injury could be an ongoing problem all we know is no breaks but he has bone bruising well been looking up bone bruising and it takes a long time to heal without rest it can get worse , I have my doubts he will play this week and will they risk him the following week if he is still sore and finals coming up , if has to play forward can't see him kicking 5 goals every game , have 8 trades left and seriously thinking to move him on thoughts ?

It's gone through my mind as well. With doubts over Danger/Sloane I can trade both for any pair I want. Could provide a nice POD to help me crack the top 500.

Kane Cornes says he's fine so I'm not worried :P

In all seriousness though if you have the trades it's an option worth thinking about as you'd be able to improve your team overall. You'd want to make sure you pick the right guy/s though, especially if his foot doesn't slow Danger down :-X

The only way Danger won't play for my team this week is if they carry him onto the ground on a stretcher and, even then, I'd  have reservations about not starting him.

Bone bruising is a pretty shower injury, can linger for a fair while, but with the medical and physical staff around him wouldn't be surprised if he gets up - with the help of a jab or 2 to the foot

I had bone bruising on my foot this year and whilst it is very uncomfortable and yes lingers it is fairly manageable. At AFL level even more so. Expect him to play.

Danger playing 65% of the game as a permanent full forward is still more effective than about 90% of the players in the league at full strength so I think he will play

I agree with the above - I've had bone bruising and even though it's a real barbie, you can more or less get on with it game day if you don't kill yourself on the training track. Unfortunately I have a feeling this will be the excuse they need to give him a rest and prime up for finals. Hope I'm wrong

Geelong: "We probably won't make the final call re: Dangerfield until the day of the game" Chris Scott

At least we will know early on Friday whether he is playing and make decisions then.

I got bone bruising on the ball of my foot 20 weeks ago and it's still there, can push off properly to sprint or jump, its flowered.  :(

Chris Scott just said he rates Danger a 40% chance to play. He will fly to Adelaide though

That's the same for me can get Mitchell and Merrett and have cash over I know it's a risk because he is clearly the best scoring player in SC but he is going to be winged for a while with this foot and if played forward teams will be onto him where the Hawks were caught a bit off guard biggest decision of the year for me  :-\

He's a 50/50 chance of playing. But there's only a 10% chance of that...

Won't play. Calling it now.

I have nothing to lose anymore my season is shot so I'm trading Danger & Pendles to Tmitch & Jelwood.
Gives me enough cash to upgrade Newman to Docherty next week and hopefully Lynch to Heeney as well
