Pendles to Merrett is a no brainer for me. Not many ppl in my league have him so have decided to go with him for now.

Could be an interesting week for me. Danger, Pendles, Sloane, Rockliff all putting their hands up for either the bench or a trade, and I've already got Jelwood so the cheap "in" isn't there for me.
The real and best "cheap in" is my man, Dayne Beams.

Thinking about it, can go Greenwood to Beams and it's mighty tempting. If Pendles is gone for a significant span, it's likely to be Greenwood and Pendles to Beams and Zorko, leaving me with Brisbane's 3 musketeers :P

The Bont is reasonably cheap if you don't have him already.

Sadly I do - Danger, Titch, Dusty, Bont, Pendles, Sloane, Jelwood, Rocky.

Zorko, Zerrett, Neale, Kelly, Beams are all worth considering but none as niceley priced as Jelly :P

Thinking

Pendles - Jelwood
Hibberd - Beams

Ringo

Thinking

Newmann to Nyhuis (Witherden at D6)
Hibberd to Beams (Will have Pendles on bench playing Scooter and Rocky with Greenwood emergency)

next week Pendles to Titchell.

Leaving 3 trades

Gandalf123

Thinking mountford down to one of a couple options and then greenwood up to Bont, Ebert or Parker, latter 2 for PODs or Bont for solidity, dunno yet

Bluesalltheway

Thinking Ainsworth to Beams as an M9 to cover Pendles, but that only leaves me with 2 trades for the rest of the year

Really stuck this week

105k
Mids - Danger, Dusty, JPK, Neale, Bont, Hanners, Rockliff, Pendles (witherden, Hibberd, deluca)

Moving Pendles on, the question is whether I go to
Beams - use cash to upgrade parsons
Fyfe - trade him back in  ::) now that he is hitting form
Selwood- cheap as chips but don't get as much as going to beams

Can use my second trade to downgrade Schaz/Ryan to 102k so I can then go Pendles to anyone
And hopefully enough cash to upgrade parsons next week. (Greenwood at F6 currently)

Maybe need to cull Pendles to cover the possibility that he doesn't return this year.

Can you get say Selwood this week (if you don't already have him)?

One trade - sideways but if Pendles misses more, at least you don't have so much $$$$ (and therefore points) on the bench come finals time.

I've already got Selwood unfortunately. Pendlebury's surgery went well and he supposedly might return next week, so I think I might keep him. I like the idea of loopholing my underperforming mids during finals (Rockliff, Murphy etc.), and I think Beams at this price is my only chance to do that with how many trades I have left.

Bones heal slowly even with pins.

I doubt they'd bother rushing him back as the only reason would be to improve Buckley's chance(s).

Blues Blues Blues

I have 8 trades left and a completed team. Are these wasted trades? Keen to get back in Fyfe as I'm out of patience with Sloane.

Sloane/Hibberd to Fyfe/Lewis Young

Thoughts?  ???

Your team is finished 8 trades go for it Sloane has been rubbish since the tag started

Just realised I could go Parsons > Beams with 1 trade but only leaves with me a fwd bench of deluca and eddy with greenwood at F6

mzunguman

Going Pendles > Jelwood
Goldy > Ryder

justaverage

Benching GAJ for Greenwood and trading Pendles to Jelwood.
Leaves me with 1 trade and $234k, limping towards the finishing line!
