Nice PB. Wouldn't start with two 4.0 defenders though, that'll hurt. If staying with the pack early is your idea (really I find that to be the best strategy at the beginning) then I'd look at Kane with around 40% ownership. But if you're set on doubling spurs mids instead then go for it because they're both awesome picks.
Keep an eye on Coutinhos transfer news too.


To free up 0.5, just do hart to Elliott (he's starting ATM) and then spend the 0.5 getting rid of Rangel (he's not playing ATM so will drop like a stone when the casual players realise)

Cheres for that. I didn't even realise I had double Spurs in the mids, Eriksen started slow last year and annoyed me so I might drop him.

I'll just keep mucking around with it until the 11th August comes around :)

Looks good. I'd downgrade Heaton -> 4.0 and use the funds to upgrade one of your defenders. I'm not sold on Mitrovic either, I'd rather have Jay Rod or Austin.

The fact I can realistically only start one of Austin, Rodriguez and Chica is really bugging me. I think they all provide very good value

- Not sure I can start two Southampton defenders and get away with it, but I can't see where else to go now that Trippier is injured for at least GW1 (If I'm reading right??)

- Also not sure double Spurs is the way to go, Zaha and Pogba (don't laugh, think Matic will do wonders for him) are others under very high consideration

- Ritchie on set pieces is tasty for dayssssssssssss

- Am worried about Jesus's possible rotation risk. Any city fan's thoughts on this?

- Rodriguez could be Chica or Austin by the weekend lockout, it's literally flip a coin.

so i made a quick team...

Foster (Hart)
Luiz/Bertrand/Vertonghen (Rangel/Rosenoir)
Pogba/Silva/Sigurdsson/Snoddgrass (McArthur)
Kane (VC) /Aguero (C) /Austin

GK - standard, both should score 100+, and rotate when needed
DEF - 3 x 100+ DEFs, 2 from teams who i think will have the most clean sheets (trying to fit in a City DEF)
MID - 4 x 100+ MIDS, snoddy again goes unnoticed (6.5%) even though he's a proven 100+ player and @ 6.0m you're laughing.
Pogba is my only concern, will he be avg again or will he become a 180+ player with Lukaku/Matic in the team, assists & goals will improve IMO. Siggy is another proven scorer, will go 150+
FWD - Kane & Aguero will be top 3 goal scorers. both Proven 150+ avg. Austin is cheap, can score and Southampton have an easier run till MW11.

Nice teams guys.

De Gea + Hart at 10mil is quite an expensive pairing.

Aguero could be a very nice POD seeing as Kane/Lukaku are the popular 2 starters.

Looks good. I think I have some of my side worked out (Namely my front 2), but it'd be cool to know who the new/lesser known sides will be starting with (Especially Newcastle) so I'll do some research over the next few days.
