Glad I hung onto the "better scorer" Ainsworth after his whopping 23 this afternoon...

Im at the game. Decent crowd. Poor umpiring. Danger playing a lot up forward but making a massive impact when he gets the ball.

No obvious run with for Selwood to contend with. Blitz and Parsons getting amongst the goals. Duncan a lot of the ball.

Brisbane need to chase a big bodied forward to held Hipwood etc. They are lacking a lot up forward.

Mat0369

If Selwood, Stef, Witherden and Duncan can play kick to kick this half that would be fantastic.

AaronKirk

FWIW the BOG in the Auskick game at half time was the kid in the geelong colours wearing number 14.

Maybe an omen for Jelwood?

If there is one player you don't want to leave alone in the forward line you think it would be Zorko.

Mat0369

If you don't have Zorko you're gonna have a bad time.

Ringo

Yep AK surprised at the crowd number thought it was around the 15k myself.

Umpiring as you say was poor both ways.

Think the experience of Geelong really showed as they easily broke tackles and some of our decision making was poor. Think we should do away with the Archie Smith experiment as I thought he was quite poor tonight and time to bring Schache back to start working on a partnership with Hipwood.  Do not think we need another forward think we need a defender to help Andrews out.  Hodge would be great if rumours are correct.

Could not believe Zorko was left unattended.

We were also a rotation down with Walker injured early in 1st quarter.

AaronKirk

Definitely time to end the Smith experiment and bring Schache back.

Have to agree about your defense. They were exposed terribly and the Geelong talls led by Tomahawk dominated the game.

The price of admission and the ovepriced mid strength beer was 100% worth it to see a clinic from Danger and Zorko.

FWIW 3 votes Zorko 2 Danger 1 Duncan.

Ringo

I agree with the 3 votes but think because we were caned Danger may get the three and Zorks the two.

My Highlight of the night though was Hipwoods running goal from wide outside 50, Really a star in the making, Schache kicked 5 in the NEAFL but can not really be judged in a 100 point thrashing.
