Neale and Cox.

It surprises me that more hasn't been made of Lachie Neales apparent lack of communications with Brennan Cox, in the right FF pocket Subi eand,just before 3/4 time hasn't had a big thing made of it.
A goal at that stage was crucial.Cox was coasting in to goal,30,000 supporters were screaming kick.Neale was running along side and calling for a hand ball in a much worse position that Cox.
Why wouldn't Neale run to shepherd , or at least scream to Cox he was hot.Not a very good example from a senior player.I was fuming watching it unfold.

Maybe a lot don't like to be seen supporting a team that is not performing well,even though it is stacked with kids.
A lot of mistakes made, and hard to take, but the kids are showing that they are not overawed by the game.
The Neale thing just bemuses me.A senior player and all.

It was an interesting mistake. I was hoping he would handball to Neale, purely for fantasy purposes! Also of note in that play was that Jack Steele ran all the way from the other goal square to make that crucial tackle.

I wouldn't call it a mistake,I would call it a selfish act from a senior player.He was in a far worse position than Cox, so should have attempted to assist rather than look for the chip being thrown to him.
Yeah a great tackle.
