So back to the drawing board i have gone and these are the 4 options i have come up with.

Option 1: Stewart - Z.Jones
              Scooter - Macrae

Opens up DPP with Greenwood in Fwds and also field 22 this week.
Get to keep GAJ, Greene and Greenwood.

Option 2: Stewart - Hibberrd
              Scooter - Buddy

Same scenario as Option 1.

Option 3: GAJ - T.Mitchell
              Scooter - Billings

Means i have to hold Stewart and play Ryan at D6

Option 4: GAJ - T Mitchell
              Stewart - Gawn

Means holding Scooter and moving Witherden to D6 and i lose the mid/def link with Adams and LLyod.

Im personally opting for Option 1 and 2 myself, but i just don’t know with Gaz and this second injury in 3 weeks.

Not sure which way to go  :-\

What do mean by "via Cousins fwd" ??

Whoops I meant Brown from Collingwood.

While the trade is valuable, is holding so much cash in the bank just losing out on points.
I agree on Ryan, i would be jumping early.
Looking at it again i feel i have a better way

Myers to Witherden & Stewart to Franklin

Using  Myers instead of Ryan opens up the Def/Mid DPP, provides better cover this week & going forward. More Cash, versatility, DPP options

Fair enough, yeah that would probably work even better. As long as you're sure its Franklin that you want. Billings is looking good too, would consider if you can afford him and don't already have him.

Option 2, though same as above would look for alternatives instead of Buddy if you can afford.

Anyone care to help me out? ;D

LordSneeze

Franklin over Billings every day of the week, even at the same price

The fact he is 100k cheaper is just a bonus.

QuoteSo I'm definitely doing Sandi --> Gawn

Its just my second trade that I'm stuck with, options are as follows:
1. Parsons --> Bayok/Deluca-Cardillo (102k M/F donut for loopholing Greenwood with Higgins, though not this week though)
2. Cousins --> Bayok/Deluca-Cardillo
3. Parsons --> Sproule (102k F/D, recently promoted, may play soon)
4. Parsons --> J. Thomas ($193k M/F, emergency this week due to no Greenwood, could possibly go Cousins --> Bayok next week and have Greenwood and Thomas floating through M/F)

For reference, my weakest player and bench across the board currently is:

Shaw (Ryan, Scharenberg)
Fyfe (Witherden (D/M), Myers, Cousins)
Gawn (Strnadica (R/F))
Higgins (Greenwood (F/M), Parsons)

Do you need to do the second trade this week? Does option 3 allow you plenty of DPP shuffle action to cover all lines? If so, this would be my go to, but I would hold for a week, Parsons will go up in value and plenty can change in a week. How many trades does that leave you?

Yeah unfortunately need to do a second trade to have the cash for Sandi --> Gawn. If I use 2 trades this week would have 4 left. I don't have any other F/Ds anywhere, so it doesn't really open up anything immediately. Tis why I'm stuck on what to do  :-\. I'm thinking that itd be dangerous trading out Parsons for a donut, given that Greenwood is out this week as it leaves me with no FWD cover for the week, but I need to trade either him or Cousins out to get Gawn...

Samm79

Wasn't even considering J Thomas, but he may be a handy option. The thing I don't like about getting him into the forwards (you could do this next week for Parsons as he's not on the bubble) is the extra trade needed to get the flexibility into the mids. You are also a bit exposed down back if one of your non - M/D goes down as you will only be able to replace with Ryan...

What about Scharenspud to  a Bayok type, Witherden to D, Greenwood to M, opens up the DPP channels giving you more bench coverage?

Ringo

Thinking these Options:

1) Berry to Hibberd
    WHE to Heeney
(Means playing Witherden/Greenwood at M8 while Scooter is out. Scooter at M8 with Greenwood and Witherden covering all lines. Parsons cover this week in forwards but no e in mids)

2) Berry to Hibberd
  S. Selwood to Whitfield
(Playing WHE at F6, with Parsons e; Witherden  e in mids)

So basically Heeney v Whitfield  Whitfield with coverage on all lines and Heeney with no mid coverage.

6 trades left will have to upgrade WHE if I take option 1 (could loophole WHE and Greenwood) whereas with option 2 have possibility of loopholing Greenwood/Scooter/Witherden.

Based on projections Option 1 gains 15 points over Option 2 so not a lot of difference there,

Does Scharenberg to Hibberd on the bubble give you enough for Sandi to Gawn.  Hibberd will open D/M with Witherden as well.

Thats some creative thinking chaps, never considered getting rid of Schaz, I know you suggested it last week Ringo but couldn't justify it given money was no real concern at the time. Hindsight is a funny thing...

Would probably do Schaz to Hibberd if I was to bring in a playing rookie, but I can't decide on whether a permanent loophole in my FWD line would be more useful than a second emergency down back/loophole emergency into the midfield.

How important are loopholes as opposed to second benchers?

Option 1. Like Whitfield as a POD but if the opportunity is there to get Heeney, would definitely take it. Believe he is the second highest averaging forward behind Yeo.

Ringo

Each to his own on loopholes. However if you have them in d/m and M/f you have 2 reasonably scoring players in Witherden and Greenwood that can cover all lines via DPP's. Especially valuable if low on trades.

Anyone know whats happening with Bolton?

Was going Hannan to Witherden, but now Greenwood is out i'll cop a donut unless i keep Hannan and trade bolton or I miss Witherden.
Bolton also helps DPP.

Might be eating a donut for the sake of the big picture this week.

1: Hannan to Witherden = Donut but $$$ for next week.
2: Bolton to Witherden = Points but lose DPP
3: No Trade = Hannan cover, Miss witherden, no $$$

Man that sucks, can't trust Ross or Horse, surely you'd think Hardwick would keep his word.

Is it really bad to Double downgrade this week for a corrective trade next week and 2 trades remaining after that?

Thinking of Butler-Witherden (Via DPP I have)

O'Connor- Hibberd (Nth)

Will leave me 120K next week for a sideways trade for next week along with 2 trades remaining for the rest of the year
