How many ppls  trade ideas have changed now Greenwood is suppose to be out this week ?

Me. Was counting on him as cover for Greene this week. Was only going to do Stewart to Witherden and wait a week on Gawn, but now going Greenwood to Gawn via Nank. Nank can cover for Green and then be F7/R3.

He is out due to be rested so should only be 1 week.

Have a look and see if you really need to trade Geenwood.

Best of luck mate

Cheers mate. I would have preferred to hold, but Greene out again really forces my hand.

If I was going to hold him for the rest of the year, I would have ended up trading Nank to get Gawn. He was probably going to end up as forward cover anyway, so I'll just roll with Nank instead, which adds ruck cover. I know going a bit early costs me $$, but I can't afford a donut in a couple of league games this week.

Hazza09

Ok I'll kick it off.....

Does Gaz have to go? Missed 2 games out of the 4 since I've bought him in.

In what order do 2 out of these 5 have to be traded?
I have all 5!

Stewart
Scooter
Greene
Gaz
Greenwood

>:( :( :'(

I am in the same spot s.selwood > wither, greenwood >gawn now this week. Bloody greene.

Heater survives getting traded out again!

Wil have to go Scooter to Witherden, Shaw can the become Rocky, Beams or Jelwood in one or two weeks.

I'm screwed if one of my forwards or rucks are a late out though

I'd go Gazz then Scooter and keep the rest. I'm thinking that perhaps Gazza is going to nurse himself through til seasons end so as to be very ready to fire up at the cattery next year. I'm trading him down to Parker this week. Scharenberg to Witherden and getting Gawn next week. Jelwood the week after and then turning Supercoach off until the finals.

;)

With both Gaz and Greenwood out I'm going to make a move that is so quintessentially me.

I love going early on players and hoping they repay me.  Got Newman after one week, Greenwood on debut and Witherden last week all on field for 90+ scores.  I've probably put the mozz on myself but I'm hoping Josh Thomas can repay the faith.

Fisher -> Thomas
Parsons -> Walters

Witts -> Gawn will wait another week.  Hopefully don't lose too much cash on that front.

Maybe look at starting with

Witts -> Darcy

And see how much cash you have

Then work on your second trade

Samm79

Greenwood out has thrown a spanner in the works. $200 measly forking dollars shy of going Parsons to Macrae. Already doing Stewart to Witherden, but stuck on what to do with the second trade options are:

1 Witts to Gawn and field Parsons for a week, Parsons to Macrae next week
2 Parsons to Buddy/Papley (playing plenty in the guts and scoring well) Gawn next week
3 Second downgrade to open up M/F loop again, then Parsons > Macrae, Witts to Gawn next week

This will leave me with 3 trades, Witherden covering defense, Greenwood the other lines. Any wise insight would be greatly appreciated!

Trading out Gaz before Tom Stewart?

i dont have a good feeling about Gaz though, second time in 3 weeks he's out and i have a feeling this will happen till the end of the season

LordSneeze

Hmm, Greenwood definitely throws a spanner in the works
I didn't plan on dropping Greenwood as if he is back next week and pulls another 80+ he rises 40k-50k, but if I can save that in trading him now then I might as well.

So the options

Option 1
Stewart to Witherden via Cousins Fwd
6 trades & 255k in Bank
This would leave no Fwd Cover & Witherden/Myers as Mid cover

Option 2
Ryan to Witherden
Stewart to Franklin
5 Trades & $0 left

Option 3
Greenwood to Witherden via Cousins Fwd
Stewart to Franklin
5 trades & 60k

The differences between option 2 & 3 are
Witherden as Def cover able to hold Greenwood opening DPP to Fwd (Stronger Def & Mid cover, better Fwd Flexibility, Better  cash generation) vs Witherden as Mid cover with DPP to Def  (Stronger Mid cover this week, more Def flexibility, harder to upgrade, but a little cash in bank)

Leaning towards option 2

Thoughts?

Gigantor

What do mean by "via Cousins fwd" ??

I like Options 1 and 2, but am curious what you mean by Cousins FWD, thought he was a pure mid? (Edit: Ninja'd)

Don't think Ryan should be traded out just yet, and reckon the extra trades and cash are valuable this time of year so would go Option 1 IMO.

Option 2 or 3. Wouldn't be rushing to go Witts --> Gawn though, Witts has been doing fine all year.

Just going to repost my one due to no response the first time around ;D

Due to the team announcements, made some alterations too.

So I'm definitely doing Sandi --> Gawn

Its just my second trade that I'm stuck with, options are as follows:
1. Parsons --> Bayok/Deluca-Cardillo (102k M/F donut for loopholing Greenwood with Higgins, though not this week though)
2. Cousins --> Bayok/Deluca-Cardillo
3. Parsons --> Sproule (102k F/D, recently promoted, may play soon)
4. Parsons --> J. Thomas ($193k M/F, emergency this week due to no Greenwood, could possibly go Cousins --> Bayok next week and have Greenwood and Thomas floating through M/F)

For reference, my weakest player and bench across the board currently is:

Shaw (Ryan, Scharenberg)
Fyfe (Witherden (D/M), Myers, Cousins)
Gawn (Strnadica (R/F))
Higgins (Greenwood (F/M), Parsons)

Whoops I meant Brown from Collingwood.

While the trade is valuable, is holding so much cash in the bank just losing out on points.
I agree on Ryan, i would be jumping early.
Looking at it again i feel i have a better way

Myers to Witherden & Stewart to Franklin

Using  Myers instead of Ryan opens up the Def/Mid DPP, provides better cover this week & going forward. More Cash, versatility, DPP options
