Sean Darcy anyone?

Yep, went a week early and took him this week when Greene was a late out. Covered Greene with Nank forward. Two Selwoods and Greene out this week was brutal, but Darcy worked out fine.  :)

Two options.

Parsons to Witherden
Witts to Gawn

or

Parsons to Bayok
Bolton to Tom Lynch (who will rest at F7)

The second option gives me a viable loophole and extra reinforcement with Greenwood in the mids. Also have Mountford there so solid as a rock. The first option locks in big Maxy who should score better than Witts by 10-15 points and gives me a m/d link + 130k in the bank.

Is there a 3rd option where you can bring in both Witherden and Gawn, without trading out Witts?

Witts to Gawn I just don't like at all. Witts is super consistent and Gawn doesn't look like going massive anytime soon. Up against Kreuz this week too

I already have Stef Martin who is doing fine so no change needed. Think I'll be doing option 2 as I agree that Witts doesn't deserve to be culled. Have checked the compatibility with Bayok and the Lynch loophole and it's basically every round from here. Watched the game and he was suffering from an injury the past fortnight, hence the dud scores. If he can pull in a few hundreds from here it will put me in a strong position. I realise you traded him out but he won't be starting on the field for me. 3 trades left but good cover now that Greenwood is in the mids. I may even trade him to Gray if a straight swap is feasible.

Yeah there's every chance I might bring Lynch back in, but for now I'll keep Greenwood as my F7/M9 and let him continue to rise in price

What trades do I really want to do this week?

Rocky and Fyfe to Titch and Neale. Team looks so much better lol

What trades will I actually do?

Shaz to Bayok and Parsons to Gawn

22 prems on the park, with DPP all over the place. Witherden and Ryan down back linking to Hibberd, Cousins and Bolton in the mids linking to Greenwood and Bayok, with Nank at F6 covering rucks

Ryan and Cousins are not DPP?

I listed my entire bench, but I have Witherden and Hibberd floating between DEF/MID and Bolton/Bayok and Greenwood floating between MID/FWD

I have multiple coverage floating across all lines :)

Very happy having that much flexibility at this time of the year with limited trades

3 trades left, purely for LTI's

Scooter > Junker
Parsons > premium, maybe yeo

Or would it be weird to go Nank to Darcy by moving strnadica to F8, Darcy for coverage, then use cash to upgrade parsons

Stewart to Witherden via Greenwood to Fwd Bench.

Will give me 280k in the bank.

Don't see the need for any others as only 6 trades left after that and any trade i make would be sideways. Happy to pass on Gawn and Darcy ATM as Stef, Witts, Nank and Ryder is enough cover. Witherden is a better downgrade for my team. Would prefer Murphy at 490k than Gawn at 510k to provide btter Mid balance and cover.

Similar spot RD.
Full premo team, ranked 3400, 3 trades left BUT my bench looks amazing...
DEF- Ryan, Hibb (DPP)
MID- Lloyd, Witherden (DPP), Brown (DPP)
FWD- Parsons, Greenwood (DPP)

But Greenwood and Witherden are the only two you would trust to post a decent score yeah? Would struggle to want to start any of the others..

Fyi- I'm in a similar position bench and DPP wise, but feel I'm still short one decent covering emergency player.

Newman to Gawn then no more trades for me, sitting on my hands until finals now. A bit dicey with Lynch, Nank, Sloane, Rocky all risks of underperforming, but I've got a somewhat complete team (Witts, Nank, Lynch all iffy), 5 trades, and coming first in cash league.

shaker

Think I will go Gray to Parker Gray can score big but I think teams realize you just can't leave him alone or he will kick bags that leaves me 8 trades still with 1 defender to get but really no one is jumping out at me ATM and Witherden is going ok at D6 , Rucks will see how Gawn goes this week Nank Witts and Ryder combo going ok

For me it's not about playing any of them.
It's the bonus that I have DPP across all lines AND that they are playing which is great to cover late outs.
Means I don't have to chase a Bayok etc.

Scooter>Bont
Sandi>Gawn

Leaves me with two trades which hurts. I'll also have to miss on Darcy and Witherden

So have $75k in the bank and 8 trades. Feeling ok with team apart from lynch (gc) and heater. Thinking of double down this week.
Ryan to witherdon gives a cash boost. Also cover in the back line.

But tactics wise, thinking of parsons to mccinness. Give me long term bubble but most important he plays a lot of Sunday's. that would mean I could loophole between greenwood and lynch. Also funds go to $270. Handy for an upgrade if Gawn starts going large.

AaronKirk

None this week. If I had 10-20k more cash I'd go Nroo to Gawn. Only 4 trades left so not going to burn 2 to bring Gawn in.

Have Ryan and Hibberd in defense, Mountford and Witherden mids and Greenwood on forward bench so cover is ok.

Would love to bring a mid/fwd DPP bottomed out premo in a couple of weeks for Greenwood.
