How to get Dangerfields captain score

I'm in a pickle. I think I flowered up.

VC Dangerfield, C Pendlebury. I had Bolton as mid emergency, and Joel Selwood late out. So there's a donut.

My 0's in other positions have already played (McInnes def, D.Cameron ruc) so I only have Myers and Cousins to come who won't play.

So my question is, if I were to bring either of them on field as captain and put say Seb Ross to the bench as emergency I WILL get Dangerfields captain score, however, to my knowledge, I won't get Ross' emergency score because I already have Bolton as emergency in the mids and with his zero and it'll register that score first before Sebs, is that correct?

This has comfortably been my worse round from a planning perspective. I completely ignored the fixturing of times, didn't check teams properly to see late omissions and it's going to cost me a lot of points I could have kept with proper emergency selections. My final teams complete (which is probably why I stupidly ignored pre-round preparation) and I'm chasing the win overall, so every point is critical. Silly silly me.

Honestly, I think the best thing I can hope for is an Adams or Roberton late out, put the VC on them, take Dangerfields C score and L.Ryans emergency score in defense.

Other than that, I'll be praying Pendlebury whips out a 150+ as a consolation prize.

Don't make rash decisions/trades to get it. Seen many a folk make silly moves for 1 week just to lock in a (C) score.

Last years DT winner copped a 0 one week. Just deep breath and think it though.

This is correct. You will get the score from Ross as Bolton didn't play.

Myers captain, Ross emergency it is!

Do you know what would have been really funny? If Myers was playing and I had to use Cousins as captain and he was a late in last minute rofl

I don't even want to begin to think how sad I would be.

Appreciate it guys, thank you very much. I still have a donut with Selwood out, but Dangerfield captain is a good consolation prize. I have no emergency cover in the back line now though, so praying both Adams and Roberton play, which they should. Touchwood.

Selwood donut was pretty much my only cost of points now. Should have had Greenwood replace him via Bolton, and Nank on the field in the forward line with Parsons replacing Greene instead of Nank.

Have Danger as VC and Pendles as C.

Went to go put a non playing player on the ground and my only option is Scharenberg! ::)

Yep he got dropped but he is also listed as first emergency.

Knowing my luck he will be a late in. ::)

Hopefully a lesson learnt

I putt Witts on the bench with the E and Strnadica on field earlier today, knowing that if I wanted to bank Dangers score I would need a non playing C with an E that I could use

Always need to plan ahead for the VC ;)

Yep I wont be doing the same mistake again.

Strnadica to start on the ground every week from now on.

Just flowering hope now that Shaz remains out and Buckley doesn't pull any late changes. :-X

I stupidly did the same thing as the OP. Only subbed Selwood off the field but forgot to take the E off him. Woke up this morning in a shear panic that if I subbed Balic on the field I would lose the score of the player I subbed off. Bullet dodged!

I need Cousins to stay as emergency and to NOT play so I can make him my C.

Any intel from anyone as to whether he will be a late inclusion?
