Blakely out due to not meeting team standards

Midfielder Connor Blakely has been omitted from Sunday’s game against St Kilda for not meeting team standards.

He went home early from training ill and then went down south surfing.

Dumb, dumb, dumb.He must think he is better than he is if he thinks he can take time outs whenever he sees fit.I bet he get crunched a few times in man on man work in the coming weeks.
He didn't play for Peel today.So I guess a strong message has already been sent.

If i was feeling sick i reckon i wouldn't want to train but could do some surfing. Depends abit what you have/ say you have.

Yallingup is about 3 hrs south of Perth, thats probably pushing it haha

But if your too sick to run/do weights/participate in drills then I don't think you could justify doing anything else that is physical

Its a stupid move. But if i was sick i would probably do that just not if im taking a day off work

He was pounding the boundary with the players on the injury list this morning.I got there late, but I would guess that it was extra that he had to do.
