Waltered-Down Brew too strong for Dublin

^^ I like that one!

WOW! Still pinching myself that this happened! My first win over the Destroyers was an incredible match and one that keeps my season alive, with Michael Walters coming down from the heavens with a mammoth 172 to win me the match by 7 SC points!

The Destroyers will no doubt be feeling dirty that Berlin happened to pull it together against them and lose with the 4th highest score of the round. After those bloody McDonalds scored 215 between them, I thought it was done. But, when Basti pulls out a 99, you know something is bound to happen.

Samurai Stop Streak Against Royals

At long last! The Samurai FINALLY had some leadership with the only centurion of the game in Luke Parker, which turned out to be the difference in the end. Not a pretty match, but much needed morale was gained. As for the Royals, not having a ruck basically lost them the game, and when their OOP ruck went down early with injury, it was never going to be their day.

Just an OK score by New Delhi, and luckily for them it was enough. This team just needs Beams back ASAP, because they don't want to have to wait til Round 17 to lock in a spot for finals.

Hellopplz

Go PNL revival! That was such a tight game so unlucky Torpy/Jukesy.

Beijing is the bad luck story of the season, NOTHING goes there way and that 160 is heartbreaking to lose with :(.

Purple 77

Berlin break the duck against Dublin (has been bugging me for a while now), whilst I find it interesting that Toronto posted their 5th win over New York

meow meow

Zorko is cursed. Give him back and jings luck will turn.

Legit feel so sorry for Toges

Poor guy deserves some sort of compo!

Purple 77

Last time I mention it, but I felt like I was particularly on the money this week:

QuoteI finally returned to some score respectability last week with a decent 140, and I can only attribute that to the double-whammy impact from the return of Gawn: 1) No more OOP and 2) A decent and trustworthy captain option, because Fyfe, Steven and Viney certainly ain't that. Looking forward to this BS year to finish, but if I could grab a win against Dublin... I think I could live with not making finals. For possibly the last time ever, I'm actually going to back my boys in here... I just have a feeling. Hey, 6th times' the charm ammarite?

Rio was hit hard with injuries last week, but still managed to find a way a win in gritty fashion against the Samurai. Without GAJ,  Watts and others, the Jags would find comfort that 2017 struggler Vince and debutant Dale stood up to take the slack. Sitting 5th on the ladder at 8-4, we fully expect the reigning premiers to make finals but the target from here would be to secure that second chance by appearing in a qualifying final. They'll have to make sure they win every match they can to do so, given that they have a much inferior percentage than the two teams ahead of them. The Cobras were back on the winners list last week - claiming a top 4 scalp against the Revolution who although had a down week, the Cobras could have let it slip if it allowed past habits to surface. The win makes life that little bit harder for New York's top 4 hopes and at the end of the day, that's what Cape Town would love doing as finals are pretty much off the table. It'd take an effort to topple the Jags at home... one I'm not sure Cape Town has in them this year. Rio for me.
On the money indeed ;)

Toga

Haha what the F! Sums up our season in a nutshell, all you can do is laugh :P

Props to Seoul, awesome game.
