I'd say you're right he put the carseat/capsule in the car yesterday.
Hopefully Mardi and bub's can go the distance and have the baby during the week.  ;)

Jelly will play. Tough as they get and GWS is huge match
After watching the movie concussion on fox Jelly will also be his be his nickname in the nursing home in 10 years time
Ive been thinking about this for a while now.   :-\
Why wouldn't he wear head protection ?
Because helmets don't help prevent concussion, they help prevent minor cuts and abrasions

They do protect you from further head injuries. Petr Cech wears a helmet after hitting the post with his head 10 or so years back.

Wouldn't stop concussions, but the extra padding would surely support to some effect.

Think about it, you transport fragile objects with soft protection around them to prevent massive impact. I'm no medical expert but surely something is better than nothing.

Confirmed in the pre game show as well. Danger took a later flight to Sydney after the doc visit.  Last thing we need is a jelwood Danger out.

They do protect you from further head injuries. Petr Cech wears a helmet after hitting the post with his head 10 or so years back.
Cech didn't hit the post, he had a collision with Stephen Hunt, which caused a depressed skull fracture. The helmet would help lessen the impact on the skull itself, by cushioning the blow, but doesn't protect that brain inside.

This is taken from the wiki page about helmets in rugby "Since the early 1990s, other players have taken to wearing padded headgear. This is intended to protect from cuts and head injuries that can occur from incidental contact in tackles or at rucks. Whilst they may prevent some cuts and abrasions, such headgear has not been shown to reduce concussive injury."

Basically reiterating what I said. Selwood isn't concerned about getting cuts to his head, that's been made abundantly clear, so why wear it if it isn't going to protect against concussion?

Just on this, the use of protective headgear in boxing has been shown over breadth studies to increase the likelihood of concussion! They have recently changed rules around amateur boxing and headgear in many assocs. to reflect this. This seems to bear out what is being said here I think
