Collingwood: "Josh Smith will miss a week with a hamstring injury" Nathan Buckley

North Melbourne‏: "Braydon Preuss won't play in the AFL this week. He has and elbow injury"

Geelong: "Jordan Cunico won't be in the squad.. we thought his ankle was minor but it hasn't responded" Chris Scott
Geelong: "(Lachie) Henderson & (Zac) Smith are available & will be picked in the squad" Chris Scott
Geelong: "We're still optimistic on Joel Selwood.. He'll be picked in our squad. We'll want to know within 24 hours of the game.. The decision will be made well before the game"" Chris Scott

This is good news so we should know early on Jelwood.

Too many hitouts affecting him.

Should give him AFL time to reduce the number slightly...

He will be good but for now having him develop in the 2nds is the best way forward.

63 hit outs is pretty insane

however

20 years old 205cm 87kg

v

23 years old 206cm 109kg

is a little unfair.

its just not smart to play him as a forward pinch hitting in the rucks, he is a ruck. Dropping Goldy is just stupid, despite the lost season.

Even if you want to trade him (which i wouldnt) you cant drop him to the 2s.

Going okay if an under statement. Should of got a game 4 weeks ago... hes been getting 25+ and a couple goals most weeks! Simpson must give him a game, or the supporters will turn on him.... Screaming out for him to be selected this week. Give the kid a crack cant be any worse than cripps or hill

really hope partington is put on ice till next year.

i cant bring in any rookies and i love this guy.

He's flown to Melbourne so surely he is in. Priddis is out. Have also heard masten, redden, butler and wellingham have made the flight. So would suggest couple of others out too along with Hurn and Priddis. If he didnt get a game this year id reckon he would request a trade home.
