2nd v 15th - Should be an easy win to Crows but Blues have been showing something this year and an upset would not surprise.

Anyone watching this? Mat, you around?

Sloane was 13 half way into 2nd and is now on 50, whilst Laird is racking them up and is on 20

WTF is going on?

Pretty solid win in the end there, still not at our best, in fact, we're a long way off that, but winning a close one should give the guys some belief.

We did brilliantly to work our way back into the game. We looked cooked at quarter time. To hit the lead in the last quarter was encouraging. However we still have a few too many guys that aren't up to the AFL standard and it showed at the start of the last when the heat was on. They just crumbled under pressure and Adelaide were able to get the lead. This isn't a bad thing, it actually says a lot about our development and that we are on the right track sticking with the Crows for that long. The coaching staff is getting the most out of the players out there and they are buying in. It was a big difference to last week.

The crowd were getting restless with the ball movement but Adelaide were creating a 2-1 down the line so we had to just chip it around and maintain possession. You can't just bomb it away and get bit in the ass on the counter attack. Our big guys did a lot better bringing it to ground when we did have these situations and the midfield were getting first use at a lot of stoppages. Adelaide's ball use out of the back half was ridiculous at times. They were able to hit targets so cleanly under pressure. This is something we need to work on. Being able to find the loose and use them quicker which we weren't doing. We also had guys leading into the same space far too often or not leading at the right times. I think when we can start to add this layer to our game in the next couple of years we will be a very, very good team.
