10 trades left, 165k in the bank.

In 8 leagues, need to make some ground in a couple of leagues if I want to make finals in all, which is the aim.

Thinking Heater to Lloyd, and Scooter to Bont this week. (assuming Fyfe gets up)

Then Stewart to Witherden and Nank to Gawn next week.

Leaves 6 trades for 7 rounds if I can make it to some GFs.

Team will then be;

D - Adams, Laird, Lloyd, Hibberd, Harbrow, Newman (Witherden, McInnes)
M - Danger, Titch, Oliver, Murphy, JPK, Wines, Fyfe, Bont (Greenwood, D.Lloyd, Cousins)
R - Witts, Gawn (Strnadica)
F - Yeo, Macrae, Dahl, Buddy, Greene, Heeney (Parsons, C.Brown)

Thoughts?
I'd be keeping that ruck cover at all costs.

My priorities would be Gawn, Nank-> F7 and then moving on from Scooter, in that order.

Gawn of course comes in next week.

How about:
Stewart -> Witherden
Shaw -> Lloyd

Scooter -> Hibberd (should be back soon - Witherden DPP too) - Greenwood M8
Parsons -> Gawn

$400k bank

Lloyd -> Bont (or whoever you want for about $590k)

Costs an extra trade but gives you a strong F7 and the all important ruck cover.

Thanks for the input mate, those were certainly moves I hadn't considered. I guess the risk is going early on Witherden vs. the possibility of ruck injuries for the rest of the year, and using an extra trade in the next few rounds to provide bench cover for the rest of the season vs. keeping an extra trade up the sleeve. Definitely given me something to think about.

I'm strongly considering going against all my SC training and trading Nank out for Sonny Walters.

I'm sick and tired of playing the straight bat for little reward.  Want a player I can really cheer for.

My gut is telling me to go Lynch to Punchable Greene instead of going Nank to Gawn.

If I have an injury to a mid then I have to take Lynch off the bench and play him at F6 which I'm not really keen on and play Greenwood at M8.

I'd rather just have Nank be my F7 instead and have a forward line of Yeo, Dahl, Heeney, Macrae, Greene, Greenwood (Nank, Bolton/Brown) than Lynch to continue stinking it up.

Can you do Lynch to Gawn?

Only have $119,000 in the kitty mate.

Lynch will probably score another 30 odd this week and be worth $350,000 next week. FML!  :'(

Anyone have a ballpark figure what Gawn will be worth next week? I presume he'll tonne up against swans.

Need some advice guys. 8 trades $88k

Option 1: Parsons to Witherden, Scooter to Bont to finish team. Still have Lynch and Nank, but could get Gawn for Nank next week but lose dpp.
Option 2: Pickett to Witherden, Lynch to Stef with Nank fwds and I get back dpp in rucks. That means playing Scooter/Greenwood in M8 for now.
Option 3: Shaz to Cox, Lynch to Greene. Still have Scooter/Greenwood as M8 and Nank to deal with.
Options 4: Same as 2, but leave Nank in R1 and get Greene instead

Thanks guys
Parsons will make money the next 2 weeks, I'd suggest holding off on trading him this week. Maybe post your whole team for better advice, hard to comment based on the above. For example why do you want cox? Do u need another low scoring rookie? Or would a non playing DPP cheapie provide you with better options?
Danger, Jelwood, JPK, Rocky, Fyfe, Pendles, Dusty, Scooter (Greenwood, Bolton, Cousins)
Nank, Witts (Stran)
Dahl, Macrae, Yeo, Heeney, Buddy Lynch (Parsons, Pickett)
Welcome your advice. Cheers fellas

If he scores 110ish I reckon he drops from 552k to about 520-530k

Oh I thought he was 540k, not 550k, so add on an extra 10k to my prediction :P

DEF: Docherty, Adams, J.Lloyd, Roberton, K.Simpson, Newman (H.Shaw, Scharenberg)

MID: Danger, T.Mitchell, Bont, Pendles, Sloane, M.Murphy, Hannebery, Fyfe (Greenwood FWD, Cousins, Mountford)

RUCK: Kruezer, Witts (Strnadica FWD)

FWD: Yeo, McRae, Dahlhaus, Heeney, Buddy, Nank RUC (Bolton MID, C.Brown MID)

I'm ranked 1,124 overall and I've got 5 trades left with $179,600 in the bank.

I'd love any suggestions for trades this week. My main concern is if having Heath Shaw on the bench is a waste of money, or smart for injuty cover going forward.

Should I downgrade him so I'll have a bunch of cash for the four remaining trades I'd have, or keep him as cover?

Any other suggestions from people more experienced than me???

With 5 trades left I would just sit tight this week but you may be in cash leagues or maybe you are still hoping for overall ?

B.

Team looks good but could obviously strengthen it by adding Laird in DEF

Witts to Gawn next week, maybe look at going Schaz to Witherden if he still isn't back.

Leaves you with 3-4 trades, which you can use later on towards finals to target Laird as a luxury upgrade in defence, or perhaps upgrading Nank to a better forward if he hasn't picked things up by then as well.
