Why not go Lynch to Gawn this week? The risk you take by not grabbing Gawn this week is other injuries could arise and you may be sidetracked.

The only way I could do that is by trading Parsons this week

I tried doing Shaz to Witherden and Lynch to Gawn but I'm bloody $1200 short  :-[

I'll be trading Parsons to Bayok (WCE) so I can loophole F6 and WCE has to most Sunday games from the 102k MID/FWD guys. Deluca is the other option and seeing as he played today he might get the nod actually

Lynch has a BE of 158 so it's trade this week or hold all year because he'll be 350-360k next week. GC has North this week too so Tarrant and co might keep him quiet again

Trading Parsons out this week and getting Gawn costs me 50k, but I guess it costs me just as much keep Lynch so it makes sense to go early

Parsons to Deluca/Bayok and Lynch to Gawn this week, then Shaz to Witherden and Scooter to Greene/Wallis etc meaning team done with Greenwood as M9/F7. Alternatively I could get a mid like Sloane/Wines etc making Fyfe my M9 and leave Greenwood as F6 for now and upgrade him closer to finals

Leaves me with 3 trades

Alternatively I can just do Parsons to Deluca and Scooter to Gawn this week, meaning Lynch is my F6 for the rest of the year but I can loop him and Greenwood, and save the extra trades for the meantime. Hmmm that might be better

Very solid trades, I'll probably be offloading Parsons early and grabbing Gawn. 50k is handy but I already have a complete team. Witts to Gawn being the last move and it will give me 3 injury trades which is enough. Have left myself 80k in the bank to cover any unexpected financial losses.

As far as the loophole is concerned, will be using Greenwood & Strnadica over the next 4 weeks. Everything clicks with Adelaide playing before Richmond & Freo.

I'd like Gawn, but I have S. Martin and Witts so I don't know how I can fit in Gawn.

Witts to Gawn is justifiable.

RaisyDaisy

Alright, so I've looked at every possible scenario and would love to get some thoughts

I currently have 7 trades left

Option 1

I can use 4 trades over the next 2 weeks and do the following

This week: Shaz to Witherden and Lynch to Greene
Next week: Parsons to Deluca/Floating donut and Scooter to Gawn

This leaves me with 3 trades, Greenwood as M9/F7 and by doing the trades in that order I get another cash jump from Parsons, Gawn drops more and Scooter is M9 this week just in case Jelwood or Fyfe don't return. I also dump Lynch who has been horrible and has a massive BE and get Greene while he has a low BE

Option 2

I just use 2 trades and do Parsons to Deluca/Floating Donut and Scooter to Gawn

This leaves me with 5 trades, Greenwood as M9/F7 but Lynch as F6 (Nank F5) for the rest of the year. It also leaves Shaz as D8 as I'd pass on Witherden to save the trades and I'd have to play Greenwood in the mids if Jelwood/Fyfe miss meaning Lynch is on field

More points and better team with Option 1, but are the extra 2 precious trades and only leaving myself with 3 worth it?

Really like option 1 mate and think I'd go that way but trade situation is a big concern so far from the finishing line.
I've put myself in the same position.

Beams to ?
Don't have Adams and they are basically a straight swap.
Have 146k in the kitty so could get Neale, Zerrett, JPK, etc
Also have Scooter so could trade him instead.
Don't have Jelwood so thinking I'll wait on him and keep cash on hand.
Really don't know atm.
Will sleep and ponder.

Ok I'm going to go full YOLO the next 2 weeks

rd 15
Shaw>Dahl via Lloyd DPP (yes I don't have Dahl :) )

rd 16
Fisher>Witherden
Nank>Gawn

Leaves me only 3 trades but due to a really good DPP setup I can cover any line with either Greenwood or S.Selwood  8)

How does that leave you with ruck cover?

Judd Magic

Ranked 117 overall, was 90 last week (thanks Shaw, Zorko, Jelwood, Lynch)  ::)

Anyways looking at either Lynch > Billings/Greene

Or not trading this week and going Nank > Gawn next week.

$119,000 in the kitty.

Rucks - Ryder, Witts

Forwards - Yeo, Dahl, Heeney, Macrae, Nank, Greenwood (Lynch, Brown)

What does everyone think the best option is?

justaverage

Beams -> any premo mid

Thinking JPK or Shiel at this stage

SilverLion

Beams --> Zerrett is already done.

Just not sure on my second trade, will have to be McNiece out, and can bring Adams back to DEF if I want to and bring in a mid/fwd or mid/def.

Currently have no fwd/mids or fwd/defs in mid barring Adams who will be moved to def in this trade. Was thinking either Witherden or Brown. Brown would allow me to play Greenwood as M9, Witherden would be played at M9 otherwise.

Lynch to Billings/Greene is a sound move. Next week move Ryder to the forwards & upgrade Nank to Gawn.

batt

#25
Going to keep Newman at D6 and use the trade saved plus an extra to dump Nank.

Fisher -> Hibberd
Nank -> Heeney/Greene/Macrae/Billings

Have a bit of personal preference against Greene (idiot) and Macrae (Wallis owner - don't think they score well together)

Who would you take?

(I could trade Lynch instead - but prefer to loophole him, already have Ryder covering rucks)

Bully

I have a few options here.

Option 1.

Parsons (BE 9) to Cox
Witts to Gawn

*3 injury trades / ruck cover / Greenwood loophole

Cash remaining 81k

Option 2.

Parsons to Bayok
Nank to Yeo/Greene/Billings

Next week Witts to Gawn

*2 injury trades & no ruck cover but a viable loophole for all forwards

*down to 2 trades

Option 3.

Do nothing and let Parsons appreciate & Gawn drop a little.

Option 3 for me

3 trades left this far out is too risky

Hold this week and reassess next week

jfitty

Need one more mid to finish my team off.. Not the best side, but I'll take it!

If Barrett plays this week he'll drop a bunch, so I'll go:

Eddy > Deluca
Barrett > Zorko

If Barrett gets dropped I'll hold off and do the same next week with Zorko a bit cheaper

billnats

I'm thinking
Beams > Martin/Merrett
Nank > DeLuca (Greenwood to F6).

Makes me some cash when I have to upgrade Scooter too
