surly you know what positions players are.

That's pretty much the issue here. Not knowing player positions is what seems to be costing time.

To be fair, if you read the opening post on every single team submission thread, it says for utilities and emergencies to put the position of the players in brackets.

My problem is not how clear the rules are, my problem is its pointless and stupid

I agree though, 100 point penalty i reckon, id cop it :P

The extra 10 seconds it takes to do it really cuts into my pointless scrolling through FF threads though :/

Those extra 10 secs has added an extra 25 minutes this morning. I am doing 16 teams of cross referencing and updating. I am very ok to do this as it saves me a lot of time when working out the final match results on a Tuesday evening. But I would prefer to actually spend those extra minutes on a Saturday with my family and friends.

I dont really get how it helps you that much, surly you know what positions players are. Emergencies on UF arent really set up the same anyway so its probably easier for you to just update the ones that are actually needed at the end of the week, which would be very few. Save that extra 25 minutes you spend looking up players positions....

I am not going to waste any more time with this. If you have an issue with doing this then raise it in the Rules for 2018 discussion or even better you can take over the admin duties from myself and update the lists etc yourself. Totally fine to me as I am only trying to get the comp back on track.

There are sooooooo many player to know positions of, so many that aren't relevant in salary cap or even draft formats. Do not blame Rids for not knowing the positions of Hong Kongs (as an example) 12-18th players to be honest

C'mon guys, it's not hard to stick a  d,m,r,f in brackets next to the name of your Uti and Emg.
   Just because you know the position of your own players, doesn't mean others will know them.
