Fair enough. Well, of those players, immediately discount Yeo, not on the same page as the others - you've got a list of the #2 to #6 mids there, Yeo is 18th, and you can pick him as a fwd!

Hard to look past Neale from the rest, their averages are all within 2ppg of each other, he's much cheaper than the rest.

It really comes down to personal preference doesn't it?

Well yes and no. Are you looking for the best player, money no object, are you looking for a value pick, are you looking for someone who is erratic but has a massive ceiling?

Player by player
Dusty - played 12, avg 116.9, <80 1x, <100 4x, 125+ 5x, 150+ 3x, price 621k, BE 94. Expensive risk/reward player

Sloane - played 12, avg 116.3, <80 3x, <100 5x, 125+ 5x, 150+ 2x, price 594k, BE 194. Will drop in price and has struggled in recent weeks when tagged.

Titchell - played 12, avg 115.8, <80 0x, <100 1x, 125+ 3x, 150+ 1x, price 605k, BE 137. Consistent performer but doesn't pull in the massive scores that others do. Safe option, a touch overpriced at the moment.

Neale - played 12, avg 114.6, <80 1x, <100 3x, 125+ 6x, 150+ 0x, price 564k, BE 100. Similar to Titch, consistent performer, currently underpriced and his low score about to make his BE plummet.

Zorko - played 12, avg 114.5, <80 1x, <100 2x, 125+ 3x, 150+ 0x, price 610k, BE 87. Again consistent, but IMO overpriced, as all 3 of his 125+ games are his most recent 3.

Neale is absolutely the best value of any of them, and has been consistently performing even when Freo are getting flogged, so there's less to worry about him needing a winning team to score points. If money doesn't matter, I'd be getting either Titch or Dusty depending on the rest of your midfield consistency versus scoring power). Zorko and Sloane not in the picture, Zorko getting love in the poll because people apparently only have a 3 week memory :P He's good but he's not 610k good. Similarly hard to pick Sloane at that price when it's about to drop, and he's in a present form slump.

Ringo

Did you leave Merret out of your summation Kiwi so he can be our Pod?  ;)

Yeo do not consider as a mid.

Mark

Would have to be Neale or Merret surely due to price and consistency

quinny88

Dusty averaging the most of the lot and had 0 votes  :o

dottman

I've got the cash to go Scooter to Neal, 1 trade for the week as current rookies have low BE.

Sensational write up. Any chance you can do one for zerrett :)

Also josh Kelly up for consideration or not?

_wato

Zerrett - played 12, avg 112, <80 0x, <100 4x, 125+ 4x, 150+ 0x, price $568k, BE 81.

Consistent as they come, low of 83 and high of 137, extremely safe option. Dons love to get it into his hands and they have the easiest of draws to finish the year, playing 9 of the bottom 10 teams and only playing one top 8 side in Adelaide. Averages 117 in wins and 109 in losses so consider that.. last year after the byes averaged 122 as well.

Thanks Wato - sorry guys not sure how I missed Zerret on the list! I still think Neale is a better option, though they're both very similar in terms of numbers.

Going a bit left field here - Lloyd?

Best BE vs Ave ratio, DPP so could help esp if you have Adams back there already.
