As has been the case the past few seasons, the finale is live on 9GO! from 12pm AEDT for anyone not doing anything then and keen on watching!

Reeeeee I'm triggered. Obvious spoilers below

A twisting and turning end to a great season but that end twist that pretty much screwed Devon out of the win and lucked Ben into the win sucked. Like Ben's not an awful winner (see: Michelle Fitzgerald) and reminiscent of Mike Holloway but at least Mike got his own way to the end with idols and immunities, Ben was great with the idols but then got the biggest stroke of luck in Survivor history - Devon really should've been in that final three and I feel really sorry for him. The twist also ruined Ben's hilarious chokes in the final immunity challenge as well. Even though it was obvious Ben would win, I was still somewhat hoping/thinking it would be a 4-4 tie and Ryan would have to break the tie as they brought up and hinted to at the game changers finale - maybe next season?

But overall this was a very very good season. Great cast and plenty of drama+twists. Returning players - Joe, Devon, Chrissy...Mike and Ryan as jokes?

I knew about the next season a while back as it was leaked, good to see it confirmed though and it seems like a solid premise - much better than HvHvH! Hopefully it's implemented well.

They introduce a twist for the first time ever that takes Ben from a 0% chance of making the final three (Devon, Chrissy and Ryan would’ve voted him off 3-1 without even a second thought) to a 50% base chance, and you’d think the rough and tumble ex-marine from Idaho guy (who lists camping as a hobby) would stand a much better chance at a challenge to make fire than some 23 year old surf instructor from California (who lists surfing, yoga and music as hobbies).

So yeah a first-time-ever twist took Ben from a 0% final three chance to a base 50% chance which in reality was probably more like 85%

ben is the man.  was gutted when he had the U in hustler upside down and missed immunity.    chrissy was good, ryan just confirmed always a spot for percieved weakling.
would like to see the yanks compete with aussies over 51 days in cyclone season without the creature comforts.

Wow, prob one, if not the best finale in survivor history, Ben was a savage getting to the end, and although I do agree he was helped out immensely in that final twist, it was Chrissy's decision to take Ryan that burnt Devon badly, he shouldn't have stood for that and fought to make Ryan go up against Ben.  Great season and some excellent players.

Great season of Survivor and Ben was phenomenal.
Chrissy did well to win so many immunities, but for me she was lucky to keep in the game before those. Ryan's game was good early but fizzled the longer it went.
Ben totally deserved the win for mine. Back to the wall. Everyone wanted him gone but they all refused to do the hard yards and watch over him. They let him go looking for idols and stayed in camp whilst he pushed on. Singlehandedly kept himself in it. True survivor and arguably the best winner with the best game I've seen.
