As if Craig Bird is getting named. Next season we should make it that you can't give the C to anyone that's not in the 22 or just allow loopholes. This still advantages people with Thursday night players the same way, just more dependent on how many fringe players you have. If we're trying to get rid of loopholing, we should get rid of it completely.

If you have a Friday emergency or an emergency travelling interstate that you know didn't get on the plane, there's still no risk at all.

That said, I really really hope Bird is a late in. Would make my day.

its tough though as some emergencies are actually pretty decent shots to play some weeks. Like Nic Newman i few week back you could have put him on the field with the current rules, with the new rules your couldnt and would have lost the monster score.

The new rule will probably be you cant name anyone not named in the 22 C, but you can name anyone in the best 25 on field. that seems totally fair.

That's what I was suggesting. Definitely name them on the field but not as C. You obviously weren't going to give the C to someone not in the best 22. It's just common sense.

Hilariously, if I was allowed to name Lobb, I had Lecca has my emg, who was a late out and I would have been forced to take a 33 as an OOP from Masten :P So cheers for disputing it LH and cheers Holz for making me name Bird is the Word instead ;D
