Ruckman Braydon Preuss appears unlikely to play despite being named on North’s extended bench for Sunday’s game. North coach Brad Scott said at his Friday press conference that it had become increasingly hard to play two ruckmen and, with No.1 big man Todd Goldstein in good form, Preuss looks set to spend another week in the VFL.

CF: Guys like Rhys Mathieson and Archie Smith will be playing their first games of the season.

Stefan Martin had 9 disposals and scored just 66 #AFLFantasy and 70 #SuperCoach pts when he last played with Smith in the same side.

Smith has been playing forward in NEAFL so hopefully used there with Stef resting forward when required.

I traded Sandi to Ryder this week to help with byes and also the fact that Sandi will miss more games throughout the year iMO.

Worst case Ryder becomes my F6 and Nank and Witts in the ruck for the rest of the season.  8)

Just checked the NEAFL Stats and Archie Smith must have been playing puerly as a forawrd last week as he had only 6 hit outs.
And the previous 3 weeks been sharing with McInerney but in all cases he has had the lesser hit outs.

Its just the constant threat of Preuss coming in all the time that is throwing me off!
