Is Jack Steele a keeper?

I'm having a hard time with this one. I never thought he was until recent weeks where he is putting out great scores. He has a terrible bye which makes holding him just that much harder. On the other hand, he's a perfect m9/f7 for later.
Trading him to Lynch for a profit before Round 11 also seems to make sense but not if he's a keeper.

Thoughts?

I traded him out R5.
Since then he has gone: 80,116, 79, 114, 87 at an average of 95.2
Not too bothered though.
The fella I brought in to replace him has gone 112, 103, 118, 134, 137 at 120.8
He's good enough to be a keeper depending on who you can bring in.

Yep he would be handy on the bench if you can keep him

RaisyDaisy

Absolute keeper

Is my F6 and plan on keeping him there

If I'm fortunate enough later in the season I'll bring in another forward and Steele can be M9/F7

He's a keeper

If you have him and Sandi they should be your last 'upgrades' but they will probably be good enough all season

justaverage

He is until round 20 when you have 8 trades left

I already have 8 trades left

Yes, he is. I think he'll only improve as the season goes on as his confidence and fitness improves. Remember that this is his first ever full season so he's only learning the ropes. Those who were frustrated early and pulled the trigger would be kicking themselves!

Capper

No i am hoping to keep him as my F7/M9. F6 will be the last upgrade i do

Was worried to see how Koby Stevens would affect his on ball time.
Didn't seem to change the rotations much on the weekend.
He looks to b one of their main inside mids going forward.

Has anyone considered trading to scooter selwood in a weeks time for $200k profit?
Don't want to try and b too clever but if selwood can stay fit he is very likely to produce the same output

Scott Selwood is on my shortlist for sure. Already considering a Barrett to Greenwood, Pickett to Selwood trade.

Put it this way, I'd be luxury trading Fyfe before Steele at this stage.

Haha literally decided that about an hour ago, think it's the way to go. Fyfe to Bont for me after the bye, should only cost 60k or so

Peter

Steele is in top 8 forwards, so should be a keeper
