Got some unnecessary depth players?

You've come to the right place.

This weekend, each team will have the opportunity to sell one card back to the 'bank'

The bank, that's me, will determine a 'fair' price for the card, considering injury, form, job security, the lot, and purchase it off you.

However, it's not quite that easy, your fellow coaches will have the chance to snipe the card for themselves.

On Sunday night, at the conclusion of the Carlton vs Fremantle game (final of the round), the prices for each card will be posted.

At 8pm AEST on Monday, the cards will then sell to the bank at said price.

However, in this roughly 24hr window, any coach may snipe that card for the price specified by the bank, and add it to their own squad. First in best dressed. The gold will still go the owner of the card and be subtracted from the purchaser's. You may not enter negative gold. You will have your weekly gold added from Round 9 though. Each coach can only purchase one card. If the card is not sniped by another coach, then it will sell to the bank as stated above.

Hopefully this all makes sense, it does in my mind at least, if anything remains unclear please ask.

You may now put up your cards that you wish to re-sell.

Holz - David Swallow (25G)
BB - Sam Powell-Pepper (15G)
LS - Shannon Hurn (25G)
Hawka - Andy Otten (15G)
JV - Tom Phillips (25G)
BM - Stephen Hill (30G)

Wonder who is gonna chuck someone up first :p

I'm tempted to whack Lids up for sale, but who knows when he'll be back and don't want him to get valued for chips haha

LordSneeze

Let me just this right.

You can only sell 1 player who can then be taken by another team. The price of the player will be determined by their TRUE value based on Form, Position, Bye, Injury, JS, scoring, DPP etc.

So for example A form silver Defender with a good bye might fetch more than an out of form Gold Defender with a bad bye.

Holz

ill put up a good player in David "Perfect Bye" Swallow.

92 in his last game averaging a decent 82. Wasn't taken to China, either has asthma or they thought he might be worth resting rather then flying to the other side of the world.

already had his bye, so has the perfect Bye

I bought him for 42 gold

Silver rarity
Injury prone (missed games through injury and resting/being managed already)
Up and down scoring so far this year
Mid only

Does have a good bye though. 15-20g.

All of your post is correct LS, the rarity means nothing, so a bronze Jarrod Witts or Will Hoskin-Elliott would be valued at a lot more than say a gold JOM.

Obviously the price evaluations will be a little subjective, but I'll be valuing in increments of 5G to try and ensure things are fair. After all, a perceived fair value will vary for everyone, so one man's trash may be another's treasure.
