With the first bye round upon us this weekend, how are peoples teams shaping up for the byes? Parsons being named has saved me from a donut this weekend, but he's about as close to a donut as it gets! Currently I'm looking at fielding 18, 21 and 19 in rounds 11, 12 and 13.

TurtlesTerriers

A little sad. 15, 21,18 but have a good amount of trades still to do over the next 2 weeks

Sabretooth Tigers

ATM  16 / 22 / 20

Wanderer

ATM 19/22/20, but copping a donut this week.

Could have the perfect structure and plan for the byes and it will all go out the window when there are injuries and players omitted/rested over those weeks haha

Yep, already need Rocky back rnd 12 and it's only rnd 9 FFS.

Not planning as religiously for byes as previously as ith all best made plans go out the window after 1st bye with injuries, resting loss of form.

Only consideration now is when trading look at byes of players trading in. Hence why I am trading in Greenwood this week early.

Anyone who is saying thy have over 18 in R11 is either expecting more rookies than realistic to play or has one hell of a different team to the norm.

Yeah I was going to mention something like this. I assume when people list ?/?/? they are only including the players with each respective bye. Most teams would have some or all of T Stewart, Hibberd, Vickers-Willis, Berry, Balic, Fisher, Pickett, Barrett, Myers, Mutimer, Lloyd, Parsons, Eddy, Greenwood, J Stewart that they are relying on playing during the byes.

Including this week's trades.

21/22/18.

Rookies I'll be hoping get games over the byes: Stewart/Barrett/Fisher/Mutimer/Myers/Greenwood/Parsons.

Haven't included Darcy Cameron in my counts but wouldn't be against him sneaking into the Swans team :P

I just assumed that was how many people they had out each week, looked similar to my outs for the byes.

My available players are 23/23/17, but if we count those who are actually likely to be playing it'll be 19-20/20/16. No donuts this round, but also no fwd or ruck bench. That is completely unplanned, so somewhat fortuitous. Buuut...

This is correct. However I am looking at upgrade to Harbrow and Wingard/Ryder over the next 2 weeks to assist byes. Risky bye rookies atm would be Parsons, Greenwood, Myers, Berry, Williamson. Marchbank, Otten, Newman, and SPP should be safe but who knows.

20/22/17

Have Ottens Hampton WHE and Sandi to upgrade from my R13 guys though.
