I had Sam Mitchell as the best modern player without a Brownlow until... well... you know. Pendles quite probably the one now. Joel Selwood up there too.

It also depends on where you rank key forwards. Someone like Buddy is routinely mentioned in the best players in the comp but he won't win a Brownlow. He is 100% the best midfielder in the last 10 years without one.

The players clearly like Bucks I think. Just a team that needs to work on its consistency, like many others but being a massive Melbourne club just means he unfairly imo gets so much more pressure than others
