Who's the best round 12 forward out of the following?

Missy
Caddy
Motlop
Nank
JJK
Waite

I've got the same dilemma. Leaning towards Missy. :-X Only the one score under 86.

Mat0369

I'm leaning towards Waite but that's pretty consistent from Missy. I'm happy to scrap Caddy and Motlop. Both don't seem to be near it consistent enough. Nank I feel is inflated from the Dees game where he was rucking against no one.

JJK is scoring ok but I kind of think he will be an almost there guy. He also played a team he beats up on against the Dogs traditionally so I'm holding off.

It leaves Missy and Waite. Waite's ceiling is huge. I don't think the others can touch him there. The worry is injury and suspension. Two things he has already dealt with. Missy has already missed a game as well and could get injured at any time. Waite should rocket in price so worst case if he gets injured he is easy to trade. I'm still not sure though.

i think Waite and Higgins are the best scorers but seems unlikely they play every game. When you take that into account a case for JJK is stronger. Definitely not Caddy or Motlop though :P

Waite does have a huge ceiling but he also throws in some absolute stinkers which is why he's never been elite in DT. Even after the massive start last year (108 average from the first 6 games) he still only finished with an average in the low 80s. He's just not a consistent 7 mark/18 disposal forward like an NRoo or TT Lynch.

If I was picking a more goal reliant forward it would be JJK but I had him late last season and he was pretty disappointing so I'm not going there again.

Higgo is playing in the guts every week which gives him a very low floor. I think he's in for his best season yet.

Or they have both missed their quota of games already  :P

What Waite added to his game is the tackling. He ended up carrying a back/hip and his scores plummeted as a result. Missy is probably going to give us the highest floor and I have tried picking mids only in my forward line. I just feel gross trading him in though.

That's a good point about the tackling numbers and if you have a gut feel about Waite then I'd go for it. You don't win this game by playing it safe and worst case scenario he should make a bit of cash as you said.

I've gone full #yolo this week: Rocky > Higgins and Devon > Walters. I even had the cash to grab Yeo but I'm not touching him. :P

Mat0369

Maybe we can both live and die by the Higgins sword. He just needs to keep his high floor and throw in a couple of tons along the way. Screw it, I'm flipping a coin.

Mat0369

I also unfortunately can't see clearly when it comes to Waite. He was my fav player when he was at the Blues and I <3 him.

And I've gone Higgins, we can crash and burn together mate.

I ended up just doing the one trade of Balic to Myers

That's a pretty good trade. Nice chunk of change and like for like in terms of bye.

I was glad to get Parsons off the ground this week, now he's beating Macrae at half time ::)

Mat0369

I fielded him the third straight week because it was either him or Hannan and I figured he couldn't be that bad again  :P

Macrae has had some slow starts so I he could come storming back in the last.
