I wanna trade hard to keep moving up the ranks. So Witts is going this week and I'm taking the opportunity to upgrade to a ruckman.
Next week Otten will be moving on but currently don't have the funds for the guy I want.

I'm looking at Sauce who's got a 7 round average (excluding Round 1) of 107, a 3 round average of 125 and seems to be doing much much better with the 3rd man up rule abolished.
Everyone has Stef Martin and I would grab him but he has some tough ruck opponents (including Sauce this week) and he has the dreaded Round 11 bye.

For reference, here is my team after trades.

Adams, Laird, Howe, Montagna, Otten, Newman (Williamson, Berry)
Dangerfield, Rockliff, Pendlebury, Murphy, Fyfe, Merrett, Treloar, SPP (Myers, Fisher, Pickett)
Jacobs, Sandilands (Strnadica)
Dahlhaus, Macrae, Nankervis, Franklin, Steele, Higgins (Parsons, Eddy)

16 trades left and a little bit of cash.

What do you reckon? Cheers for the advice.

I picked up Jacobs the round Nank was suspended and couldnt be happier. I would be looking at him or Goldy depending on your bye situation

I really like Sauce as a POD, still have good memories of 2014 when he ripped the competition a new one.

Does throw in the odd shocker, but think he will definitely be a top ruck this year.

Personally looking at bringing in either him, Mumford or even McEvoy for Sandi at some stage, but might not need to for a while.

I'm about 490 points off first so it's definitely reachable.

Zerrett in last week who is a great POD and Howe/Joey/Higgins are really the only guys most wouldn't have.

With most teams looking so similiar I need to change it up and keep nailing my captain selections.

I really hope Rocky isn't out, he's been helping me climb up there. Only 2/3 of the top 10 have him.
If Jacobs can continue dominating it'll help out immensely...

Just had a look through the top ranked sides - all are rolling with Sandilands and either Martin or Witts.

With that in mind Sauce could be a great option to make up some points, particularly as he definitely has the ceiling.

great pod. up against stef martin this week. martin does more around the ground so if sauce wins a few HOTA could go well

Last 3 against Stef include a 115, 119 and a 164. Seems to do really well against him.

With Adelaide needing a win I'm hoping he can step it up again...

Hahaha doubt I'll win it fellas. I'm consistently a good rank but apart from 18th 2 years back I've never really been close enough.

Tbh, get who you want. As long as Stef scores more this week against Jacobs ;)

I considered Sauce two weeks ago, regretting it now but wouldn't go chasing last week's points.

How do you think it's chasing last weeks points? 108, 95, 110, 61, 116, 118, 141
