"Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the GWS Giants Football Club, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with medium impact to the head. The incident was classified as a two-match sanction"

No wonder why the MRP is a lottery - How can a charge of careless conduct be brought when it was all in the action of tackling. But as we know anything involving the head is treated more harshly than others so amybe that is why.

I cant see any difference in what Waite and Steven did only the outcome.

surely they should have the same penalty.

Also the gut punch i though they fixed that up last year and you get 1 week for it.

Player gets a free kick awarded for a tackle, then gets two weeks? Can you imagine the attention this would get if this was a Fyfe or Dangerfield? MRP Lotto is as bad as ever, just sneaking under the radar as the big names haven't been so involved this year.
