Need some advice here, should I trade 2 fattened rooks to Yeo and Heeney, or do I bring Zerrett/Sloane in for the uber premium nod?

I'm taking the Yeo/Heeney route, think they have more value for money.

Prob right, just not sold on both guys to be consistent all year. Got to make a decision this week if I'm going for overall or league win due to cash being involved. Leaning towards league which means byes don't matter so don't have to worry about bye structure.

Yeo also has a very good bye if you are going for overall.

At this stage I am looking at

Phillips - Heeney & Hampton - Pittard.

Should probably look at my bye structure - but that doesn't sound like much fun.  Has anyone seen the 'Bye' tool that has been available in previous years from alternative fantasy sites?

Pittard has the bye next week, so I'd wait a bit on him. Plus, not like he'll be going up in price, SC has been down on recent years unfortunately. Could be a solid POD for after his bye though, and definitely one I'll be looking at if he scores well against the Suns this weekend.

Braxton8ers

Ahh yes the Bye - probably should check those out - they have crept up on me.

Not playing SC - so not too concerned about that side of the game - but will have another think around the byes - Cheers GoLions!

Yeah just realised this is the AF board :P

A much better choice for after his bye then haha, pumping out some great numbers :)

Hoskin-Elliott to Zach Merrett - Worried that WHE is going to bleed a lot of cash now.

Second trade is the worry now; I STILL have O'Meara ::) :-[ >:( but also have Hampton and Houston who are bleeding cash and Newman who Im not sure If or when he will be getting another game anytime soon.

I'm holding out hope that one of those 2 (Hampton/Houston) will get rested so I can do pretty much the same trade as you and not worry about one of them going down in price.

Trading out the one that doesn't get dropped? So there is no risk in losing cash?

Id get Yeo, Jelwood will get tagged too often and hes in a moon boot this week i hear. Duncans a gun though but i see Yeo being the only 1 being top 6/8 in their positions

Rusty00

Anyone jumping on Lachie Neale? Seems to have broken out of his funk and probably is as low in price as he'll get with a BE of 80 this week.

Trying to decide whether to get him as a POD or jump on either of the Yeo or Tuohy bandwagons?

I'm thinking the same...Neale looks better when the Dockers look better and their form's improving.
