Round 8 Trades

I'm genuinely stumped as to who goes out this week.

I have to hold Otten and Hampton for Rd 11 bye purposes, chances of Newman playing again are slim, I have Berry (Rd 11) or EVW (Rd 12) to choose from as downgrades and I want to upgrade Butler. However, the most I have by doing those trades is either $505k or $520k which means I miss out on JPK by $2k and going with Berry means I'm genuinely flowered for the byes and Parker is my only real option.

Should I trade Hampton to get a better mid and nope Newman plays, go Newman > EVW and Butler to Parker and hope he turns it around ($490k so cheap) or think of another trade? Will post my team if necessary.

Next week Houston to Myers swinging Dahl back fwd and Hampton to Adams.

A bit sideways and could bite me down the track, but my side looks so much better with Bont and Yeo, plus not having to look at Treloar any longer.

I don't like Treloar to Yeo, explained why in X vs Y thread but basically you're going sideways from proven/out of form to unproven/in form. Form is temporary.

Trading to get a team on the park for r11 isn't the best idea.  Better to get a few more r12,r13 types and trade through the byes.  I'm keeping Hampton and Otten until at least r12

Can you shift a forward to the mids and pick up a prem forward?

The fact that you can't even get JPK is why I would look elsewhere because everyone under him isn't worth it

Dusty may very well be worth it.  Depends if he's dealing with an injury or not.

Dusty may very well be worth it.  Depends if he's dealing with an injury or not.

I now have found enough cash. Considering Zerrett and obviously JPK now.

Zerrett was a monster post bye last year.  JPK has the runs on the board and has started slowly before.  Dusty has the bye in his favour.

I love Zerrett as a POD.  Don't think he's a big injury risk.  That DT:SC will surely improve?  Bye is a pain though.
Dusty can sit on the backburner till he pumps out a good game.
I'd personally take whichever of JPK and Zerrett better works for bye's sake.
