Looking to do a downgrade in either of the forward/mid/defense line. Pretty much whoever has the best job security.

Can't trust any of the Scott brothers when it comes to rookies.

Kind of like Ross Lyon.

Scott doesn't seem to like Menegola. Thought he was one of the better players in a sea ordinary cats and he gets dropped. Was harshly dropped before his suspension too.

Parsons will be coming in, but my POD rookie that will be valuable either way (if he continues playing or gets dropped) is Berry.
All the coaches out there are turning a blind eye on this guy because of his b/e of 11, but that will decrease this week as his low score of 14 goes out of his rolling average. If dropped can use his as a MPP tool to swing Adams around.
If he plays, generates cash for you. If you have Adams you cant lose with this guy. If you pick up a EVW and gets dropped in next couple of weeks, you will have another Brett Eddy in your squad.
Berry had a blinder in his first hit out in NEAFL, got thrown into seniors immediately, reckon he is good for a 50-60. Pay an extra $20k for a guy that can be used for other purposes other than cash generation.

yeh, where are all the Cats fans to help us split Black vs Parsons??

wow! poll result looks decisive, but what are the reasons for this??
why are more hot on one of them over the other?  ???

As far away from a Cats fan as can be
But Parsons can play in the middle and going of his 2 games has better consistency
Black may have 100, but poor showing by Cats meant he did flower all
If the cats seem to tall surely he is the first to go

Yep, all this.

Summed it up very well.

Holz

Parsons and its not even close.

they talked him up all preseason and he played as soon as he was healthy.

then he gets suspended for 2 weeks then comes straight back in.

put up a solid 60 68 what is not to like.

and just for bonus fun.

I'd be taking Melican this week if looking for a defensive rookie, has looked very good in the preseason and last couple

what are your thoughts on EVW Holz?

ok just some context I have seen probably 10 minutes of highlights of AFL games for the whole year so im way way out of the loop.

ok so looking at the ins and outs of last 3 week.

out: Preuss Higgins Swallow Thomas, Sympkin, Mulett
in: EVW, Higgins, Wood, Anderson, Waite, Clarke

now my issue is Waite is back, Scott has annoyingly talked about the Goldy -Preuss combo and finding a way for it to work. Swallow and Thomas we know are historically lock 22 guys who may be out of favor but could come back. ben Jacobs is not far away and will be in the mix, Mullett is maybe a month away including VFL time but is also in the mix.

Wood will not be dropped (but is injury prone)
Anderson could be dropped but dont feel EVW is any different.
Waite will play is healthy.
Clarke is highly rated and i like him.

so basically there are a whole bunch of guys who could come back. Luckily none play defense (besides mullett who was playing mid but can play back). However hansen has been switching between defense and offense and with Wood Waite etc.. he could play just back and maybe push out EVW.

So in short im not sure.

however taking a punt I  never feel secure with any north rookie and can see there are lots of reasons he could lose his spot.

What is Melican's cash generation profile.   Being a R11 rookie, good chance we will need to keep through his bye if he is a slow burner.    I don't have the space for a non playing rookie in round 11.   If he could generate 120-150 by R11 then willing to have him.     If he avgs 61 TooSerious has him at 229K by time to trade him out.
50 avg  204K,  55avg 214K.
Best case makes 106, likely case (50 avg) makes 80k.

How desperate are we for cash generation.   In my case of pickett, b long, eddy not making any money this looks far superiour.
