Time for one to go

But which one?

Huttabito

Butler stays for me.

First week this seaosn with Hartlett, Pittard and Hombsch so he has fallen down the pecking order.

Much of a muchness but Houston has DPP so maybe keep him as that might prove handy.

No he doesn't

Id keep Butler. He was up against the Crows who monopolised the points.
Houston also has the earlier bye so even if he goes big you will be wanting to get him out in the next 2 weeks.

TBH though, both have more cash to make and id suggest keeping both.

All I will say is this.
I thought, along with quite a few others, that WHE had to go last weekend too.
High-ish BE and came off an average performance the week before.
So, out he went. Cunningly I grabbed Aaron Black a week early.
WHE=125 points and will make more $$$ AND is cemented in that side.
Black=48 points and looked average in a loss.

I am trying to generate more cash and want to grab Parsons (who I think will be selected) and don't really have many others to cull at this stage, esp with Nankervis out this week

Balic and Buddy McCrae and Dahl

Oh and yes steady Eddy are who I have

HoleMeal

I have both as well.
I also have Hampton who, for me, would go before those 2.

Much of a muchness then as I said. Even when I'm wrong I'm still right.

PowerBug

This is my decision to make as well. I have no one else that is ready to go, and both these guys are the weakest spot on my field (As in, one is on my field, one at F7)

Houston
Last week was the first time with Pittard, Hartlett and Hombsch (As mentioned in the 2nd post). This worries me, as I'd like to think there's been less mucking around with the ball this year, and those three (in that order) are probably all preferred to Houston to take the ball forward.

But on top of that, we played a side which we completely destroyed and we didn't spend much time in defensive 50. Houston had only 2 of his 12 touches in the back 50, and 3 in the fwd half. When he junked the first qtr against the Giants everything was in that defensive 50. West Coast and Gold Coast you'd think will actually win the ball a bit more and send the ball forward.

Breakeven is only 42 which I think he passes by at least 10 (That 51 I don't think will get worse). Does have a bye in two weeks which is an issue, but then if you can cover him through that, and he does score decently, he's good cover for the 3 multi-bye rounds! I know Butler has the higher top score, but I think Dan's ceiling is better.

Butler
The consistent small forward for Richmond has done a very good job this season. He had the down week against the Crows as many expected, but not by much! if he kicked that goal instead of passing it off he'd have scored over 60 again, so it's not a terrible score at all.

Moving forward they have the Dogs, Freo and GWS in their next three. Which based on what we expected last week, we won't be seeing high 60s-70s and instead get 50-low 60s for two of those matches.

Breakeven is 47, again something I expect to see him get. He does look secure in the 22 which is great. His bye is also a good one (Rd 12) as not many players are out that week. Could easily hold him to that round then turn him to a Heeney/Macrae/Dahl/Buddy/NRoo (Just listing some top fwds with a Rd 11 bye) or even to someone in another position as most have DPP.

Overall
flowered if I know which way to go with this. As someone with Ryder and TJ Lynch I've leaned towards trading Houston first as my Rucks and fwd will be stretched in Rd 9. I really don't think this decision will make or break a season (I'm expecting whoever I don't trade this week I'll trade next week!), neither will start smashing out 100s in consecutive weeks (Watch one do it now) and suddenly make another $100k. I say it comes down to bye structure and squad depth as to who you hold for now.
